yeah im really interested in hearing the behind the scenes stuff...please post more interviews like this. its reassuring to know that the band still plays some of their older material even if its only in rehearsal
I have read that as well, but only on message boards. I haven't seen anything in any interview with the band about it. Where did you hear it? As a big fan of all things Incubus and as a big fan of both Alex and Ben, I'd be really interested to know if there is evidence that Mike wrote any of Alex's parts, aside from just hearsay.
@Dnoah21 I heard that actually Mike was the one who wrote thes basslines of their early work and adding what Ben says here I'm starting to believe it's true. Mike is an incredebly gifted musician. :)
It's so foolish to compare artist! I mean they're both great! they do their things and make music. If you don't like what they're doing, then stfu because this ain't no competitive art!
Shut up Ben nay sayers ... Change happens, it's a part of life. Ben picked up Alex's stuff no problem and incubus had been able to evolve and stay relevant for a decade and a half which is unheard of today.
@GABYINCUBUSMcCARTNEY nope ever saw alex jam way back in the day? on that one dvd?? i think he (alex) wrote alot of it.... that why they kicked him out... to change their sound for little 13 year old girls...
I LOVE THESE VIDEOS!! They should make MORE like these. Ben is a great bass player and great guy. I am glad he is in the band!
