2. The REST option on the aircon will keep the air conditioning running even when the engine is off. A very good feature to retain your car’s temperature while you’re out shopping or watching movies

A good competition is Citroen C5 Aircross, at this price range better ride, comfort and a good diesel engine.
No diesel nor automatic available in c3 7 seater. Most importantly both are far different segments

Bro I owned Skoda rapid tdi very good choice rapid or Vento both are same platform and almost equal, so you I'll enjoy every day driving very strong and stable cars..no other car's are competition for this 2 car's if you like driving and safety definitely go for it.😉 💯
