If it comes to a point where Kentucky and Purdue have to play each other, it looks ike Kentucky has a guy who can match up very well against Eady. He can shoot 3 pointers as well, which makes him a triple threat. I loved his no look behind the back pass, that was awesome to see.
I truly hope we continue to work on the defense. Up 28 at one point, and end the game up 9. Being out scored by 19 points in 7 minutes sounds horrible in any other context. I understand Cal needs to better work in the bigs. But hearing on the radio that we let players score uncontested sounds awful.
Lol Georgia shot 38 FT 38!!! That’s why they caught up I mean back to back possession Georgia shot 6 FT. Refs was some of the worst I’ve seen all year, so Kentucky defense is that bad
We gave up 96 points and still won by 9 and were up by 30 with 7 minutes left. I’ll take that every game. You see NBA teams give 100 almost every night and still win. Like the comment above mine the refs blew the whistle a ton in that 7 minute stretch and slowed the game down tremendously. But seriously if I hadn’t watched the game and you told me we gave up 96 I would’ve automatically assumed we lost but we didn’t. Also go back and watch the game, refs let Georgia’s big guys hold/seal the paint while being in the paint for at least 5 seconds every time. Definitely helped Georgia get back into the game. The defense is what it is but I have faith in this team that in the clutch they are going to make the defensive stops we need in March.

They even make mistakes too so why aren't they whining about them too lol. Everyone makes mistakes and (hopefully) learns from them. Some people will never be satisfied nor will they ever leave a positive comment about anything lol...! I get what dudes saying about not letting up but when your playing a team that can't manage to play a good competitive basketball game because your entire scheme is drawing freaking fouls then why not let up some!? Makes more sense to me giving them some points rather letting some of our best players foul out. Plus, uga as a whole is and should be damn near perfect at the charity line so letting them chance anything else is actually better. And then uga can grab our dudes by the waist or throw our arms completely around and we get nothing called. A win is a win, and this team is great and getting better regardless of a 30+ blowout so forget that bullshit! Congrats and go cats!!!!!

I know better defense is what everyone’s yelling right now. But these refs were horrific. At one point they had called 15 fouls in 7 minutes to start the second half. Both teams were scared to touch each other after that. Never want to see these refs again.

I wish Cal would give Burkes some minutes. you know he will transfer at end of year. i know i would. we have to learn to put teams away because almost every game they let other team back in it. we should've won by at least 20.
No one hates him. We just hate how Cal keeps him in longer than he should, which hurts other players times when they deserve it. Edwards as of right now is not better than aduo, yet Cal thinks he is. Aduo shows more effort, can play better defense, and could be a better scorer if he was given more time to find his shots.

Plus as I have played college basketball myself, yes you have to let other players have (or try to have) equal play time. Its how these freshman will learn. Cal has been way too patient with Edwards. He's not who we thought he was. He's a worse version of Terrence Jones. Bench him. No reason he should be taking anyone's minutes
Really there's no reason to be playing Edwards at all anymore. Cal is going to have to make some kids mad, but it needs to be done. There's no reason Edwards should be taking time from any players, especially when they have Ivisic, Rob, and Reed
Or maybe..... just maybe Rob and Shepherd are playing so well because they are being used exactly how they should for this team to be it's best. There is a very good possibility that more minutes for those two would be putting them in a roll that doesn't suit them. As far as Edwards goes, he is exactly who we thought we were getting. A super athletic long wing that is at his best with the ball in his hands making plays. However there is no room for a player like that in cals system, we've seen it a million times. They get turned into a spot up jump shooter and that is not their game.
