My hair loves protein. I've never had protein overload, but I'm always conscience of it bc so many curlys talk about it, but do seem to get hydrofatigue fairly easy. Love your hair by the way.
I didn't get the shampoo, but I did get the other 2. I love the conditioner and am LIVING for that gel! It is my new favorite, knocking out my OG fav gel from biolage. I also find I get great hold with That gel. A lot of "strong" hold gels tend to NOT hold my curls - it may look good at first / have a strong cast, but then everything flattens & falls (3A fine hair hair), yet medium holds go way further for me usually 🤷 Either way, That aqua gel is AH-MAZING!💜💜💜
Loooooove this! The gel is not enough hold beyond day 1 for my fine 3B curls but it’s so good that I don’t mind refreshing with a different gel the next day! 🙌🏽💜
I’ve used it as a leave-in & it did GREAT but still haven’t had the chance to use it as a dc yet! Once I do I’ll let you know but wouldn’t surprise me if it was fantastic too 🙌🏽

Ok I hope they sell travel sizes when it hits Ulta. I’m currently purging my stash. Joined a buy sell site to get rid of what I’ll never use. I’m interested. I would combine with other Curlsmith like you. But curious how the Protein foam would work in conjunction with the jelly. I’ll use another style cream and leave in so it’s not too much protein
Do you know for Ulta if you can exchange products you've used? I bought the Curlsmith transition kit last week and my hair went into moisture overload. I don't necessarily want to return the whole kit but it would be nice if I could exchange say the shampoo for the Curlsmith protein shampoo you used in this video. This was the first time I've shopped at Ulta and I rarely return stuff, especially if I've used it.
Ulta’s return policy is great! They’d rather you keep buying products you love vs keeping products that don’t work. If you bought it as a kit then you’ll have to return the full kit, but you can get the money back from that and buy the products separately that worked for you.

Thank you! Yea it’s all about balance, making sure on weeks you deep condition that you use a couple high-protein stylers.

My current fav styling routine is the CS air dry cream, aqua gel, and strengthening foam. That combo is a winner each time for me!
I can't remember the last time I loved a leave in conditioner the way I love the weightless air dry cream. It works well with so many other products.
