These songs are hitting differently right now. My buddy who got me into The Amity Affliction/Metal 5 years ago just recently passed away. Never did I think I would like Metal but he got me into it and I love it. I’ll forever think of him while listening to this band. O.M.G.I.M.Y 💔

Every time the clean singer starts to hit the high notes on so in "is your Chest SO heavy your ready to leave" is low-key mad entertainment
I don't know why everyone is bashing Ahrens vocal live I think he sounds good consider he trying to put a good show on as well
Same, I agree he's off key sometimes but that doesn't mean he cannot sing. He actually did this song amazingly too. Have you heard him recently? Like night and day; much more improved.
Ahren generally has great vocals. A lot of people bash on him because he 'doesn't sound like that on records' but little do they know that he paces himself. This means he's not blowing his vocal chords out every song and can last the entire set.
No to mention weeks on tour can fuck up anyone's vocals
3:25 they had 2 guitars and still back tracked
Most songs have more than 2 guitar tracks....get used to it.

Robe Fa because they don't believe in a god, just like why do you have to mention that your a Christian? they're just passing on a message that they feel needs to be passed on and are saying how they feel
It's not really them bashing on it, it's just a reinforcement of the idea that your "afterlife" is not going to be better than if you keep on living

I would think that its more like them enforcing the idea that if you commit suicide thinking that everything will be better off, you'll stay in limbo full of regrets and sadness, rather than pass on to heaven. Thats what I think, given the context of most of their songs.

actually he's doing exceptionally well. Live performance is horribly represented in videos and such. But also as a general rule it can be hard to hear yourself on stage. Most vocalists at the least end up being flat because of that and a lack of breath

I actually think this is the exact key. He's doing this song great imo.
I mean he smokes like a chimney so that probably takes a toll on his voice too.
Smoking has a part to play but the main reason is he's been battling with a sinus infection but he's actually an amazing singer live look at the older live vids especially open letter
