I love this version so much, I think it may be the most "hits in the heart". I've never heard the original, so I listened to a lot of covers today, and the movie track, and I still think this is the best one. You took it to a bottomless depth. You deserve an award for this; that's how great it is. Your choices are so true, meaningful, and right. It's human to doubt and second guess yourselves, especially when you get an idea that goes to the bone with a song like this.
You doubt youselves just the right amount to not just do a cover, but to make a thought-provoking masterpiece.

Not gonna lie! This videoclip is better than the original! You perfectly capture the feeling of the song by appearing stunning at the beginning with a forced smile then you take off the make up, let the hair fall down and slowly stop smiling. Very well acted while still singing! Awesome!

Finally got round to watching this. As somebody who is very attached to the original song, I must say I really, really loved this cover! There have been a few since the release, and none I came across were objectively bad, but just not the original, if you know what I mean. But this one actually really adds something. I think it's maybe the fact that you've kinda made it a duet with Ken, even though it's still Barbie's song. I also love the video idea. It's very simple but really, really effective. Thank you for this cover!
