nice boat, and if you want a little more time, back off on the trim tabs. the boat is kind of plowing thru the water, you want to get the nose up and the hull out of the water more. water drag kills batteries
Maybe doing a thermal shut down due to the rudder cover still attached. These boats die fast w/o cooling. Re-run with cooling see if you'll get better turning and a bit longer run times. It happens. Awesome boat and even better to hear you guys having a blast!!
I'm not being negative but if anyone notice that the rudder sleeve was still on during the test and I am sure the ESC and motor would not get enough cooling. Reason I notice that as I have the first version and looking in buying the V2. Either way good video.

Yes this boat rips , even better now. 2 veins on the rudder for cooling the motor and ESC independently is the way it should be. That was the first thing I changed on my Traxxas M-41 Although kinda disappointing HH didn't include the DX-3 TX with it so you can take advantage of the telemetry on the RX and ESC, bit of a bummer.😒
i fully agree,this boat has a large enough profile for the fun/thrill-factor,as well as transporting it for a "R/C TOY"too; if anyone wants a gigantic boat get a kayac or a real passenger power boat....another awesome review thanks!
Excited for boat week is an understatement!!! My 8 yr old asked for an rc boat this year for his birthday. Will hold off purchasing one until I see this year's boats. Was going to order him the udirc arrow 5 based on your video...but now will wait another week to decide!

Fun fact! before the Sonicwave 36 came out, Proboat made the Voracity-E 36 boat and discontinued it pretty quick, it didnt have the self flip over, then later came out with the Sonicwake 36, both have the same exact hull, but the Voracity paint scheme was better..
It ran fine the first two times although the electrics seemed very warm. Third run, I drove a little faster after lubing the shaft. Electrical system and batteries were really HOT. More importantly the rubber grommet that hold the brass driveshaft tube into the stringer completely melted and disintegrated. The shaft is not aligned to the motor. The boat is now inoperable after just three runs.
Love this boat, the sound she makes shooting past you is orsum. I am surprised with all the spectrum equipment it dose not tell you the battery is low. Great video guys. 👍🏻
How did the esc and/or motor not get fried with no cooling water? Rubber cover is on rudder when you put boat in water, and was still on rudder when you removed boat from water

This is AWESOME!!!! and it definitely has to be the only boat I have seen with an external antenna 😁 that let's you know it means business lol you know when your able to put your wife in your rooster tail while she's on land that it's a beast 👍🏽 great content with spring here and summer around the corner guys this is gonna get put on my list for sure it kinda sucks that where I live there are dozens of water spots but not many places to fly and I'm a flyer lol but over the years you guys have made me a boat guy when I didn't use to like rc boats 😁 but now I love it stay safe guys and keep sailing ✌🏽
Great Video Mate! I have a question.. when the lipo batteries are running low is there any warning signal in the transmitter? Lipo batteries run down suddenly, Or do you understand that there is a loss of power and can you get back in?
Whaoo This passion is beautiful but wastes a lot of money and very disappointed when a plane or helicopter car boat breaks its pain in the heart and it has to be repaired and it carries a lot of hassle 🤝₣
Trim tabs need to come up a bit, hull needs to be aired out....boat is hugging the water too hard causing the motor to work way too hard killing your battery life.

I like this color - haven't seen the other one. If y'all still have the Cajun Commander might be nice to see how it handles on that size of lake.

$600 here in UK. Don't think I'll be branching out to Boats. I'll stick with my cars and planes. Boats just seem to have a low ceiling of expectations. Seems as though my £450 would be better spend on a Eflite or Arrma product?
@@RCRitterFPV Get yourself a shreddy or heatwave Recoil 2. Can take 4S, is very stable and good in rough water with deep V. I will be jumping waves of cargo ships in the local canal. If you have more than twice the money also look at the Thrasher from Streamlined RC. Sadly way expense to import here but a really nice basher jet boat.
Every time I see this new versions graphics I think about the Dr Pepper logo with the oval around it. Probably just me but the graphics seem cheap toyish
For whatever reason on boats I prefer stick transmitters so I don't have to hold the throttle constantly. Is it possible to put in a 2 channel rc airplane transmitter to do this?
You gotta wait to do the water test till after the flip test since that's a high risk water entry time. Unless I missed the flip test since I'm driving home.
We do! It’s only been three weeks since we had a couple trucks on the channel, and even more after that! We try to keep the variety coming. Just been a slow season for new, Good ground vehicles.

Help I just bought this and the driveshaft seems to be getting stuck and at low speed doesn’t spin

It handles well but it should come with tools or a remote that shows the lipo voltage.
