Let’s not forget pac favourite track at the time was party and bullshit. Make no mistake pac gave advice but nobody past present or future comes close to biggie delivery and his style will never be replicated.
The stories I’ve heard about Biggie’s first album coming out were about Tupac being excited and proud shot his friend being successful and putting it a great album. You can’t honestly compare the two’s styles though. They were completely different. They both had impeccable flows, but very different flows. I’ve never heard a Pac radio where he didn’t match the instrumental perfectly. The main thing Pac had that Big didn’t was emotion. No one in radio has ever come close to emoting emotions consistently like Pac did. Big was masterful with similes, metaphors, and wordplay. He was also quite good with more complicated rhyming. Pac didn’t utilise those tactics very much, and instead focused on getting messages and emotions across. Two very different styles of performing. I wish those two events had never happened, and those two young men had been asked to settle their differences and had gotten back to working together. Maybe the vision that Tupac had could have been realised. We’d have so much amazing music from those two, both separately and together. And, as Tim Roth once said, ‘[Tupac] would probably be doing some really interesting [movies]’ if he were still around.

They sound nothing alike 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
@@MoonwalkerKing-gc5jm the lyrics numbnuts
This has always been talked about. But Me Against The World was supposed to Pac's version of something like Ready To Die. My favorite Big song is Everyday Struggle, which I always thought had a Pac vibe similar to Death Around The Corner. Maj confirmed the connection.
I remember watching that video with supercat was always wondering who big was good interview thou never knew shock was from queens (actually riding thru far rock now as I'm listening to this interview) never knew about the baby baby thing can't recall hearing pac say that phrase on any record prior to ready to die thou but once again great interview AOD!!!
Salute to u homie from Chicago, I love the history of Queens ✌
The song was Dolly My Baby
@@DJ-NOBLE I remember the song and video just couldn't remember the title
Pac would say stuff like thug life baaaabyyy, biggie then started saying baaaby baaby..
@@arkhamknight6371 oh I get it now cause I was thinking I never heard him say that on any particular song
I'm a west coast brother but I did and still rock with them both. It wasn't my beef. We lost two of the greatest ever over ego, pent up frustration and speculation.
Ego? Pac was shot…it wasnt like they had petty rap beef…pac was shot going to the studio and he thought biggie knew about it…then he got killed later on because he beat up a well known crip…
You can tell this man is keeping it Buck 💯
Maj on Return Of The Mac 🔥
The way art just replies without any response to the person being interviewed is hilarious to me 😂 it’s like he has an urgency to get allll of his questions out the way 😂
Rest In Peace Shock G
GREAT Interview
This was refreshing!!! Definitely need more interviews from Pacs Day 1s. I’m sick of hearing from the groupie niggas that was around when he passed.
Yo this gonna be fire 🔥 keep em coming
The problem is that Pac coached Biggie and told him to change his style for more sales. Then got mad when Big followed his blueprint.
BS he got mad cause they set him up
talking real shit he in the mix he know fasho
First I've heard that Shock G is from Queens NYC.
Is this the first interview of the series? They are never numbered.
Tupac said he let Biggie hear his Me Against The World album then Biggie dropped Ready To Die and it sounded just like Tupac's album. So Tupac scrapped the whole album and made the Me Against The World album that he released.
So true.
I remember pac saying that on sway interview so I guess r u still down was the album that pac scrapped that came out after both died
@@mikegillins4992 yea r u still down but pac was gonna call it troublesome ,or out on bail.Out on bail was gonna be one of the singles.if u listen to the original r u still down, all original tracks,it sounds alot like ready to die.The beats, the lyrics,it's eerie
E mo bee gave a story how Biggy was bitter about him doing those nice beats for pac which were temptations and if I die tonight before they were even done recording, he was playing very close attention. Writing is on the wall bro. You cant take anything from Biggie cuz dude was talented but you cant deny it either.
@@arkhamknight6371 yea no doubt I think the original name of album was going to be out on bail and I remember pac performing out on bail at the 94 source awards with the classic mic drop!!!
Live Squad and Thuglife need TV series 💯
Listen biggie style no human being can re create. As a biggie fan he’s the nicest emcee ever to grace this earth.
On hindsight he should have gave props for helping him initially but ultimately pac was jealous his homie blow beyond belief when he had a chance to be his manager.
Let’s not forget pac favourite track at the time was party and bullshit.
Make no mistake pac gave advice but nobody past present or future comes close to biggie delivery and his style will never be replicated.
Truth
