The only downside of the Blank -> Dark Matter combo is that you need to do an early investment into Blank that may never pay off due to the game not giving you Dark Matter, but you can increase the chance using the +1 Voucher tag.
He probably still new to the game let him play it the way he wants. Watching how much money he misses this first few runs is hurting me since I have played a while but I mean when I started I probably made big mistakes too here and there
one thing to note is that Vampire works with every PLAYED card so if you play a two pair and just add another enhanced card it still gets eaten by it. Other Jokers have the phrasing with SCORED then you definetly have to score with the card to get the benefit of the joker. Tyler, if you grow tired of simply doing runs and want to unlock more stuff, you can go to the Collection and hovering over locked things generally gives the requirements for unlocking said thing.

hi tyler and editors! first off this channel has legit the best editing I've seen for a gaming channel by a huge margin, its actually ridiculous how many tiny little touches yall put in to make it just that much better. I did notice at 7:00 tyler says "i have double tag under my facecam". I assume that the facecam wasnt moved in post because its baked into the OBS recording. so something that would be super neat to see is doing it like Markiplier handles it, where Markiplier records game footage and facecam seperately. this way they can be combined together in post to allow for moving the facecam in situations like this, and also it makes general edits involving the facecam easier. if yall have already thought of that idea and have some reason for not doing it, disregard me entirely, its just something i noticed.

To clarify there are three types of card upgrades in the game. Enhancement: gold, steel, stone, wild, lucky and glass Seal: blue, purple, gold and red Special?: foil, polychrome and holographic Jokers only react to enhancement and doesn't do anything to other card upgrades so having seal or special cards don't trigger anything related to enhancement jokers

Early on I had the jokers that destroyed the card you discard in your first discard if it's only one card. I also managed to get a red seal polychrome king early on from a standard pack (well, it started as a red seal polychrome 10 of diamonds, but I was holding onto a spade conversion tarot card and pretty quickly upgraded it to a jack, and not too long after, queen and then king) and duplicated it like ten times in total, so one hand I had it trigger 16 cards, so 48 gold, 16x mult from the first played face card thing, +168 mult from the +4 per face card thing (including the multiplier from the first card each time it triggered, 4x16+4x8+4x4+4x2, plus 4x12 for the other 4 cards triggering 3 times each), and 656x from the polychrome king triggers, and +1x mult each time I played a hand, all on top of +480 chips from the +30 when scored joker. Final deck was 10 or so polychrome red seal kings of spades, 15-ish other kings of spades (I had enough for 5 hands exactly), and like six or so other cards I never managed to get rid of. That last boss blind I ended up with like 14m points from the level 25-ish flush house (got the telescope voucher from ante 3 and bought every celestial pack I came across after that) and a 30-something-x mult from that one card - 45x from the second polychrome, but still not enough to beat the many hundred million point boss. I'd managed to get past that for ante 7 because the big blind that time had a reroll tag, but... not ante 14.
Going for flushes instead of full house in the early game can be a good strategy. If you already have 4 cards of one suit, you have 9 cards in your deck that can complete the flush, versus only 4 cards in the deck that can turn 2 pair into a full house. Although the 2 pair also has the benefit that it scores kind of okay on its' own if you don't draw the full house.
really hoping tyler eventually gets a sick vampire build i had a build where 1. every card is a face card 2. every played (NOT scored) face card becomes gold and 3. vampire im sure you can imagine how well +1x mult per hand played went into endless
