      @N10248  3 года назад +9

      I was surprised by the condition too, as I hadn't seen any pictures of it prior to delivery. The control panel it came with had quite a bit of rust on it, was loosly attached and didn't match the good condition of the rest of the cabinet. I 'm guessing it's original panel developed a fault and the operator swaped it for the tatty one. The panel in all my videos is in fact the one I had previously as my stand alone controller as it is almost new in appearance.

    • @N10248
      @N10248  3 года назад

      Yay another owner! Unless you were very lucky and got a keychip with it too, using the original hardware and software freely can be quite difficult, and hacking it can be risky, that's the main reason I went the route I did, ie swapping the motherboard and using the available rip of the game instead of the original. Might be a good idea to sign up at ProjectDiva.net and go through what you have and how far you have got with it all.

    Hey I have a few questions.
    1. does the sega Nu has DVD player or whatever it call. Because I seen people selling like a copy of the disc. Which is probably updates of the game.
    2. Network switch board when you bought the arcade cabinet. Has that been use. Because I never seen project diva arcades use together or something like that. Is probably a feature I haven't seen. Probably multiplayer?.
    3. Since you have the arcade cabinet with the touch screen working. Did you had to Recalibrate the screen. And if you did was it on the test mode and touch panel setting?. The reason I'm asking is because touch panel is disabled for me. Because I don't have a touch panel and I want to learn more on that setting and Options it has.

    • @N10248
      @N10248  4 года назад +1

      1: The official way games get installed on the Nu is by using the Lindbergh DVD Drive Unit "U-Type", you have to use a different power cable for the drive though, as the Nu has a 4-pin square power connector instead of the 6-pin JST conector that the lindbergh used. The base game comes on 4 dvds (i think) and the extra songs get downloaded from All.net.
      2: The network switch is used to join up to 4 cabinets together. 1 cab is set as the "Server" (set via dip-switch 1 on the Nu) and 3 others connect to the switch in that one (the switches in the other 3 cabs are not used). the server cab downloads game updates only, and then the other 3 get updated by the server. there is no multiplayer and if the server cab is off the other 3 won't work.
      3: the touch screen needed calibrating when I first got it working, it was only slightly wrong. I think the calibration settings are stored on the JVS card in the Nu, as the calibration remains across multiple installs of the game. Its calibrated in the games service menu, you press certain points on the screen.

      @@N10248 I see.
      1. I have seen people in Japanese websites selling the disc's 1 and 2. But Idk about 3 and 4 disc's.
      3. Is it ok if you can show a video or pictures on the touch panel Recalibration on how to do it. If you can do it.
      Also my research on this I found the Sega Mechanics website. Which you can download a lot of things form different arcades they do. But manuals and other stuff is lock for I'm guessing top mechanics. If you would like the website I can give it to you.

      Try researching if there are any arcade importers in your area / country, maybe register on some arcade related forums like Arcade Otaku etc, as many will have marketplaces and you may be able to find somone able to aquire one. If you are in Europe try contacting Ronnie at RKLOK.nl
