Then I thought, wait a second, I'm dressed in power armour, and armed with a gatling laser plus Nuka launcher. Damn crab. Dead crab. Still scared of it.
I love deadeye because where he is at, there's a microphone there that you can activate where your sole survivor says "war war never changes." That place actually is where the male sole survivor was supposed to give a speech (it's mentioned in the terminal) before the bombs fell of course.
It's also mentioned during you the character creation at the very start of the game. (wipes steam off of mirror) Husband: "War never changes." Wife: "You're going to knock them dead at the veterans hall tonight hun." Later in the game, when you activate the mic, it triggers the player dialogue, "War never changes." spoken in a very melancholy tone. BTW, if you kill Deadeye before he turns on the alarm, you will get ambushed by Supermutants right outside of the hall when you leave. It's safe to suggest that you are better off letting Deadeye set the alarm off, that way you have some tactical advantage and cover inside the walls of the Veterans hall rather then get attacked right when you step outside with no cover around to protect yourself.

I was over level 50, in a full set of X-01 fully upgraded power armour, with the incarnation of death, a robot I had build from automatron, and was blasting through far harbour, wondering if there was anything that could challenge me. Approaching a location I tapped the vats button to see if there was anything up ahead. Of course, the truck lit up green and it said hermit crab. I thought "oh, it's hiding inside" thinking the truck was hollow with the crab inside, and assuming the crab to be much smaller than the truck. After looking around the truck wondering where the enter ended was, I fired a couple of shots into the end full of rubbish. THEN THE BEAST AWOKE. I utterly freaked out as the legs crawled out and the entire truck lifted off the ground. I legitimately ran for my life at first, then realised I was a god and turned around and put three mini nukes into its face.
FO4 is master of spoilers. Weapons, enemies, anything can show up in your loading screen tips before you ever encountered them. I also found the first hermit crab when I was scanning with Vats.
It would be cooler if the Vats didn't give enemy names, and if the perk that gives details on resistances required you to actually face an enemy or learn about them from someone else before you got the info.
Samuel Watt The Enraged Fog Crawlers from Far Harbor taught me to pray for Atom's guidance in fighting them. Jesus, I think they have a DR of 4500 at times, as that's the only excuse I can think of for them shrugging off three mini-nukes to face like they're a gentle spring rain.
It's not that they unknown, the point is these are enemy's that are hidden in some way, and or are unique. The reason the mirelurk King got on the list is simple. That one will not spawn unless you take the egg, making it a hidden secret enemy, that is in reality just a run of the mill Mook, but still hidden.
There's a secret group of enemies near Andrew Station, there is guy named "Dando" and his 2 dogs "Shug" and "Ruby" he is clearly apart of cut-content likely to do with the Railroad because IF you attack him with Deacon he will turn Hostile on you. That'd be my addition, Top 5 Cut-Content in Fallout 4? maybe ;)
Ryan N not really it's just that they don't abandon them if they're useful also it depends on which type of supermutant like gen 1 gen 2 nightkin, mariposa, or vault 87 as each has varying intelligence and mental function
some Super Mutants are pretty intelligent, there are Super Mutants who can make it through the Nuka World gauntlet. And there's also Super Mutants like Erickson.
That roach king guy is also a running theme in the Elder Scrolls series. In skyrim you find a guy that's building a rat army to overrun Tamriel with, and there's something like that in Oblivion as well if I recall correctly

You forgot the Sentry Bot outside of the MurkWater Construction Site. Where there's these structures in the mud and one of them look as if it were an elevator of some sorts. You attempt to open the door, but it only reveals a message saying "You look nice today" with an orange skull at the bottom of the text; spawning the robot.
I've only encountered Regi B once with one of my two characters, and he was there around level 20, I think, for me. The secret "boss" I'd add is the supermutant behemoth who spawns after the player takes a Jangles the Moon Monkey toy from a crashed car. I think it's close to Malden Middle School.
Swan is hiding, but he's not exactly hidden. He's in the centre of Boston and you have to go past him for at least a couple of quests (saving Nick and Railroad)
In the swamp east of sunshine farm, there is a small bridge build from boatwrecks and there are three kings dwelling. If you run into them all three killed me instant (lv40 no powerarmour and 1 endure).

I know it's not very special , but the Deathclaw in the Museum of Witchcraft was a creepy surprise. Cause the whole environment; at least for the first playthrough had such on edge ambiance.

Graenolf I had him for 1 WHOLE GOSH DARN DAY because I didn't have the right equipment to take care of him but I named him Garry he was small I found him at a beach I stepped on a shell and when I picked it up there was a hermit crab so me and my 3 brothers all had a pet hermit crab and they all died in 1 day it's sad but keeping them was amazing
yeah happened to me too but Idk I guess I had good guns and perks as I stomped every one I came across with minimal effort although I haven't done my survival playthrough yet so we'll see how that goes lol
theory:after you kill the roach king in f3 hes not quite dead,just severely wounded.some super mutants find him as he is dying,then they drag him back to vault 87 and use FEV on him,turning him into a mutant.after being changed he roams the wastes taming roaches,until the sole survivor finds and kills him for good.
You can't include named versions of enemies that everyone and their mother knows about (Wayne Gorski, Deadeye). That's cheating. Also, everyone knows about Mirelurk Kings. The Hermit Crabs aren't that hidden anyways if you're a high enough level. The only real secret enemy here is Regi.
Everyone knows about Mirelurk Kings, but this one was special in that his attack is scripted. You have to approach the altar for it to turn hostile. Gorski is, indeed, not at all hidden since you find him in an actual map location, same goes for Deadeye. Level 113 and I still don't find many Hermit Crabs, only found 2 throughout my whole playthrough. But yeah, I'd say the the only "secret" enemies in this video are that Mirelurk King and Regi Blattaria.
When you're walking along side the bridge near diamond city or heading towards it, if you stay near the houses one you will be able to go in and there's some ghouls in there. When you reach the top of the building there's a bloated ghoul waiting for you up there. Son of bitch nearly killed me the first time he came out on me and I do mean "me" nearly gave me a heart at ta ta ta tack.

Swan. I remember my first encounter so clearly. I was walking to the station to get to the Vault and save Nick. I went through water and heard a loud growl. I turn around to see Swan behind me. I run as fast as I can to the station door and barely escape alive.
Nuka World was a good area but done badly, the raider aspect was lame as fuck and sucked that it was the Canon way to play the game and use all its features. Far Harbor was miles better IMO so get it :P
As someone who plays multiplayer/PvP shooters, it becomes a force of habit. It doesn't matter how many times you shoot or how many rounds are still in the clip. You still reload primitively so you always have a full clip for the next enemy.

First time I ran into Deadeye was on Survival mode. I had no idea who he was or that he was blind and just sneak attacked him like I was doing to all the Supermutants. Of course, not knowing who he was or what he did, I saw a circuit breaker on the wall next to him after having just cleared out the building and, like any curious person, I pulled it. Needless to say I died without knowing what hit me. It wasn't until the fifth attempt that I realized I had gotten lucky the first time and that Deadeye was meant to pull that lever and summon an ambush if you didn't kill him first.
I found some Named Feral Ghouls in Lexington, Not Sure if it would Count as Unique Enemies but they almost all wear different Clothing and use Melee Weapons. Two of them are Mr. and Mrs. Parker, Accompanied by a Glowing one and several other Ferals. they Spawned along the road and were attacking Scavengers and Raiders who just happened to be working together instead of killing each other.
Hermit crabs are tough, but for an unknown reason (possibly oversight by bethesda) they have no radiation resistance. A gamma gun (or radium rifle) will make quick work of them. A good secret enemy is at what looks like a power station NW of Murkwater construction. opening the door there causes a sentry bot to spawn. (spawned a deathclaw too, on mine)
The first time I encountered one of those giant crabs it scared the crap out of me. I didn't even know they existed in the game until came up to a store and suddenly the vehicle I walked past grew legs then started chasing me. lol
Number 4 the Mirelurk King scared me so much when I first got him. I thought the egg was weird because I couldn't break it and ended up picking it up and then turned around to a super fast thing jumping at me and like had a spasm lol.
there's a cemetery that if you enter one of the tombs (one with the shrine) a raider will spawn outside the tomb. It's similar to the mire lurk king event.

Regi Blattaria is a Fallout 3 easter egg, roughly translated from Latin means Roach King. Regi is taken from the word Regis which mean "of the king" and Blattera means "cockroach". However, if I was to name this character I would have named him Rex Blattaria which directly translate from Latin means King Cockroach. Rex is the latin word for "King" while Regis is a word referred to historical ownership of land by the crown, or once land that was previously under the ownership of a king or kingdom.
That's a very terrifying thought for me for some reason imagine a huge bus just in the swamp and as you walked you herd moving and when you turn around the bus was 5 feet in front of your face you continue walking but it feels like something is watching you your every step you keep moving forward but you herd a very loud splashing sound when you turn around the bus was gone now you start walking faster...you herd walking no not quiet walking loud thumping like walking you start getting nervous you walked to a deep pond the thunderous walking was gone for a while... Until you saw the bus floating in the other side the pond the same bus that disappeared there was a mirelurk on the other side too but it was not there for long a huge claw pulled it to water and the bus splashed out of the water revealing a truly colossal hermit crab and it was tearing the poor mirelurk into pieces you ran in to the fastest sprint you can possibly could the colossal bus shelled crab let a horrifying roar you got out of the swamp and in to a high place when you turn around you finally got a good look at it it was red and colossal it had two claws that can cut a solid hard rock in to little bitty pieces it had a bus as a shell you staring at it for a good few minutes until help arrived the creature ran back in to the swamp with the bus still being seen now imagine all that stuff!! Also imagine that hermit crab in the story in the game!
When I was up north in Far Harbor near the Oceanarium, I went to the bridge to search for loot and to get away from a Gulper, I got a health bar at the top of my screen for a large hermit crap. I thought it was on the other side of the truck. Turns out it was inside the truck. I jumped so high because it terrified me when I saw a hairy beast crawl out of the truck. Describe your first hermit crap experience...

theory:after you kill the roach king in f3 hes not quite dead,just severely wounded.some super mutants find him as he is dying,then they drag him back to vault 87 and use FEV on him,turning him into a mutant.after being changed he roams the wastes taming roaches,until the sole survivor finds and kills him for good.
You can't include named versions of enemies that everyone and their mother knows about (Wayne Gorski, Deadeye). That's cheating. Also, everyone knows about Mirelurk Kings. The Hermit Crabs aren't that hidden anyways if you're a high enough level. The only real secret enemy here is Regi.

I didnt know about Deadeye.
Everyone knows about Mirelurk Kings, but this one was special in that his attack is scripted. You have to approach the altar for it to turn hostile. Gorski is, indeed, not at all hidden since you find him in an actual map location, same goes for Deadeye. Level 113 and I still don't find many Hermit Crabs, only found 2 throughout my whole playthrough. But yeah, I'd say the the only "secret" enemies in this video are that Mirelurk King and Regi Blattaria.

When you're walking along side the bridge near diamond city or heading towards it, if you stay near the houses one you will be able to go in and there's some ghouls in there. When you reach the top of the building there's a bloated ghoul waiting for you up there. Son of bitch nearly killed me the first time he came out on me and I do mean "me" nearly gave me a heart at ta ta ta tack.

i screamed during the beta of far harbor when i found the hermit crab.
Swan. I remember my first encounter so clearly. I was walking to the station to get to the Vault and save Nick. I went through water and heard a loud growl. I turn around to see Swan behind me. I run as fast as I can to the station door and barely escape alive.

FH is worth the money. The DLC is great and has massive Fallout Flare. I like NW too but FH is one of the best DLC's i ever played.
Nuka World was a good area but done badly, the raider aspect was lame as fuck and sucked that it was the Canon way to play the game and use all its features. Far Harbor was miles better IMO so get it :P

As someone who plays multiplayer/PvP shooters, it becomes a force of habit. It doesn't matter how many times you shoot or how many rounds are still in the clip. You still reload primitively so you always have a full clip for the next enemy.

Well for me a lvl 20mirelurk King I encountered was near the the refrigerator where the billy quest is

First time I ran into Deadeye was on Survival mode. I had no idea who he was or that he was blind and just sneak attacked him like I was doing to all the Supermutants.
Of course, not knowing who he was or what he did, I saw a circuit breaker on the wall next to him after having just cleared out the building and, like any curious person, I pulled it.
Needless to say I died without knowing what hit me.
It wasn't until the fifth attempt that I realized I had gotten lucky the first time and that Deadeye was meant to pull that lever and summon an ambush if you didn't kill him first.
There's also the "You look beautiful today" Sentry Murderbot somewhere in the southern central part of the map.
I found some Named Feral Ghouls in Lexington, Not Sure if it would Count as Unique Enemies but they almost all wear different Clothing and use Melee Weapons. Two of them are Mr. and Mrs. Parker, Accompanied by a Glowing one and several other Ferals. they Spawned along the road and were attacking Scavengers and Raiders who just happened to be working together instead of killing each other.
Hermit crabs are tough, but for an unknown reason (possibly oversight by bethesda) they have no radiation resistance. A gamma gun (or radium rifle) will make quick work of them.
A good secret enemy is at what looks like a power station NW of Murkwater construction. opening the door there causes a sentry bot to spawn. (spawned a deathclaw too, on mine)
The first time I encountered one of those giant crabs it scared the crap out of me. I didn't even know they existed in the game until came up to a store and suddenly the vehicle I walked past grew legs then started chasing me. lol
Number 4 the Mirelurk King scared me so much when I first got him. I thought the egg was weird because I couldn't break it and ended up picking it up and then turned around to a super fast thing jumping at me and like had a spasm lol.

You can See Mirelurk King in an Island too... is close to the castle, but be carefull 'cause there are a lot of Mirelurk hunters.
there's a cemetery that if you enter one of the tombs (one with the shrine) a raider will spawn outside the tomb. It's similar to the mire lurk king event.

Regi Blattaria is a Fallout 3 easter egg, roughly translated from Latin means Roach King. Regi is taken from the word Regis which mean "of the king" and Blattera means "cockroach". However, if I was to name this character I would have named him Rex Blattaria which directly translate from Latin means King Cockroach. Rex is the latin word for "King" while Regis is a word referred to historical ownership of land by the crown, or once land that was previously under the ownership of a king or kingdom.
That's a very terrifying thought for me for some reason imagine a huge bus just in the swamp and as you walked you herd moving and when you turn around the bus was 5 feet in front of your face you continue walking but it feels like something is watching you your every step you keep moving forward but you herd a very loud splashing sound when you turn around the bus was gone now you start walking faster...you herd walking no not quiet walking loud thumping like walking you start getting nervous you walked to a deep pond the thunderous walking was gone for a while... Until you saw the bus floating in the other side the pond the same bus that disappeared there was a mirelurk on the other side too but it was not there for long a huge claw pulled it to water and the bus splashed out of the water revealing a truly colossal hermit crab and it was tearing the poor mirelurk into pieces you ran in to the fastest sprint you can possibly could the colossal bus shelled crab let a horrifying roar you got out of the swamp and in to a high place when you turn around you finally got a good look at it it was red and colossal it had two claws that can cut a solid hard rock in to little bitty pieces it had a bus as a shell you staring at it for a good few minutes until help arrived the creature ran back in to the swamp with the bus still being seen now imagine all that stuff!! Also imagine that hermit crab in the story in the game!
When I was up north in Far Harbor near the Oceanarium, I went to the bridge to search for loot and to get away from a Gulper, I got a health bar at the top of my screen for a large hermit crap. I thought it was on the other side of the truck. Turns out it was inside the truck. I jumped so high because it terrified me when I saw a hairy beast crawl out of the truck.
