The vehicles and dragons in this line are TOUGH finds. I have complete and minty examples of all figures, ghosts and the Tomb of Doom (including a case fresh MISB example), but I've basically given up on finding the vehicles/dragons loose, complete, and in nice shape. Good luck on the hunt!

Vintage Kenner Star Wars would be mine but with so many characters and vehicles and playsets, it would have to take a lot of room that I don't have

What's funny is I, too, just started picking up some of the Supernaturals line. I don't intend to complete it, but the figures are fantastic to display. I'm still determining if I've planned to 100% a specific line, especially when I like so much. My current collecting includes MOTU Classics, Legends of Dragonore, TMNTxMOTU, and others. But from the vintage side, I am really interested in the early '80s REMCO Conan and Pirates of the Galaxseas, as well as the Conan The Adventurer toys. Currently, I have a storage unit that I am moving things over to that I'm either going to sell off throughout the year or store until I rotate things out to change the display.

Space for figures is definitely an issue. I've been collecting Kenner Super Powers graded and loose. I only need 5 more to be completed with the line. Went to Retro Exchange in Houston, Texas, around 3 years ago to look for more Super Powers figures, and the sales person Zack sold me on the Super Naturals figures carded now I only need two more to compete the collection carded. I'm so glad he showed them to me that day because they are getting harder to find mint on card and going up in price. It's definitely a great figure line collect.

my goal for this year was to try to collect at minimum at least one of every toy ever made by any company for any toy line. i just don’t have the space. jk. my collection is extremely small and currently only takes up a small portion of our master bedroom. i have never had a desire of any kind to try and complete any toy line, i simply collect what i think is cool. it started out specifically to get the toys/games/misc that i remember owning as a child (which wasn’t much at all). it’s now expanded to things i wished id had but never got and things i didn’t know existed but i think is cool. i don’t care for boxed/sealed items (they’re cool and look great but are usually out of my price range), and i think loose figures display better. i also don’t mind if the figures have all their accessories or not, if they do its awesome, but if not oh well. i just prefer the figures and misc be in acceptable to good condition so they display decently. i mentioned this on a recent ed’s retro geek out video that my personal grails are an inhumanoids metlar and d’compose. my brother and i got these for christmas in ‘86 or ‘87, and i have a picture of us posing with them. i do consider these to be “expensive” but not unreasonable and are definitely attainable. i just don’t want a metlar with a broken head which seems to be very common. i hope to check out DVT soon, looks like a great place with great deals for all price ranges.

being a medical professional, DVT, has a different meaning (Deep vein thrombosis) but that single store has more than all of australia.
As for space, my current collection has a LOT resting in tubs and boxes (not saying totes). Jakks Rocky, MOTU Masterverse (underrated line!) a lot of WWE Mattel Elites and cool basics, all sorts of vintage superhero’s and toys i had as a kid, because we have a baby who is a T-rex and an apartment that isn’t huge.

Space is a real problem for sure, I am trying to focus on getting Bravestarr this year. Last year I managed to get the 1980 Mattel Kraken, and a few years ago I purchased a boxed Inspector Gadget. 💪😎

Those rare Gremlins figures are truly nostalgic. No doubt there is an 80's movie enthusiastist who buy them. Great pickups though, Craig. I have to say space is an issue for me. I collect only Marvel Legends and GI JOE Classified figures. Yet i do have three DC Multiverse figures. I do need another bookshelf yet i have to find a spot in my apartment to put it.

    Awesome vids Narc!
Yeah I gave up collecting a bunch of lines due to space. The playmates turtles stuff rocks, but yeah all of those vehicles take up a ton of space.
I stopped collecting Mythic Legions, GI Joe Classified, DBZ Figuarts, and a few others for space. Just to focus on Neca\Super7 TMNT, X-men ML's, and DCUC.

    Hey NARC
I am currently collecting Lego Mini Figures.
They are small, so easy to store away.
    Lovely collection of figures there.

How could you even put a price on that Gremlins set?

    • @DaveRyansMind
      @DaveRyansMind 7 месяцев назад +1

I think you look at averages on prototypes / first shots then factor in the type of figures / history behind them……that’ll give you base and then you need to add the custom display and it’s history…..price it and then negotiate when you have someone interested.
Truly a good question though because it really just depends on the history of the sale of that particular piece…..so far it’s only been sold once and that was the sale from the original owner to DVT.
