That being said, what they said didn't have that huge of an impact to the match (notably Torimeshi saying he should use the plus frame kick special more and Bon-chan saying Fuudo reacted against it when he did it as a cancel so he should do it only from neutral) and the big comeback from 0-2 was still 100% Daigo.

I dont think Fuudo is wrong. Daigo doesnt at all play aggressively with Ken. He plays patient and likes keeping his distance....Guile is better for that.
@@mokkorista did you even play street fighter five and six? Guile doesn't have to turtle anymore as his go-to gameplan. He has insane tools to slowly force you to the corner and he has amazing buttons with enhanced combo potential in the latest 2 iterations of the series. He doesn't turtle anymore unless you suck.

He is, although still a defensive character, a pretty versatile one this time around. I love to watch and play guile. Hes not boring, hes unique imo.

@@c.conga11 just a few days earlier, Daigo lost to FUUDO in a crazy 4 to 10 where FUUDO swept him. Sometimes good players lose, and this match wasn’t a sweep by any measure.
Dhalsim is one of those high skill ceiling characters, and Fuudo seems to preferred those. Once players get better, I think Dhalsim will be considered strong but balanced.
Fuudo looked like outclassed Daigo in skill and intelligence, but somehow choked. Daigo was one hit away from losing to a perfect KO final round, and somehow does a reverse sweep. One of the most amazing matches I've seen
Learned a lot from this video. Drive rush crouching jab is a really good option to go for in neutral. Not only is it plus but you can convert it into his standing MP+HP target combo, which is really huge for damage. You can even mix it up and go into his run stance.
For a moment there I thought you were gonna mention something about learning that it's everybody's game until the end etc but then you went on about game tactics. Kinda funny
damn... fuudo just cracked under the pressure, he had him, and then he let Diago bring it all the way back with a full reverse sweep on wins, that's crazy. Good on Diago tho for carrying that momentum all the way through once he knew he was in his head.
Daigo's ability to turn the tide is beyond incredible.
He adapts to people's styles and uses there own fundamentals against them true genius Daigo is.
Daigo might lose a couple of rounds here and there but like the other comment stated he adapts so amazingly well

I use Dhalsim and this is just really weird.

It's insane how fast he addapts to each opponent. Dhalsin's Teleport+grab combos simply stopped working after two rounds.
That max range punish sweep on reaction to take the game. Those are the plays that make Daigo so legendary.
