ah you reminded me how they hid the start up sound and have to mess with the registry they did this in 10 too i believe what a joke.
Hi bren since i updated my windows 11 pc and surface pro laptop the Microsoft office can not sign in with my Microsoft 365 family subscription it says that i have to activate office subscription but nothing happens!! Is thes common issue?

Thanks for this tip! I am tried this on my Windows 10 Laptop and I am able to change the registry settings and sounds, However, when I actually go to log on or log off, it doesn't play those sounds. Does it actually work for you?
No Ms blocked this method ages ago.
you have to set it up as No sound (modified ) for it to work ,as that is what i did and it works prefect or tick the box at the box play windows startup sound

Its the log on sound, my startup sound is still the Win11 default, is there a way in changing the boot up sound itself?
