I 100% agree the Z platform has an insane amount of aftermarket parts. You can go any route with these cars! Thank you bro, and glad to hear my boy 🤙🏼

Are you running flex fuel? If not, have you given it any thought?

    • @WestCoastBuilt

Yes, I’m running running specialty Z flex fuel kit. Also got the CJM fuel return with upgraded fuel lines

@@WestCoastBuilt I have the CJM fuel return kit, but I am now regretting not getting the full return kit with the upgraded lines. I recently added Swift springs, SPL front upper arms and tie rods and rear SPL billet camber arms with the upgraded bolts and lock out kit. I also had a Whiteline rear differential bearing installed. At well over 600whp, I use to bunny hop when I got into the throttle in 4th or 5th gear, but now she just squats and pulls!

@@brianjackson5732 Yoo my car does the same thing! That was gonna be my next mod. Going to get solid rear bushings, diff brace bracket, and I’m going to be upgrading the axles so I can start going to the track and not snap my axles. If I have any extra money some 17inch rims. You can always talk to CJM I messaged them through Facebook they’re super cool. See if you can return old ones and pay difference for upgraded ones.

@@WestCoastBuilt Had not thought about the fuel line upgrade. Good call. I will send Charles a message after the holidays. By the way, how is your hood in terms of performance? It looks great, but did you also see lower temps after the install? Finally, any issues with rain water through the vents?

@@brianjackson5732 So the Z is just a weekend car so I don’t drive it in the rain at all. I keep it the garage most of the time. The hood comes with rain guards if you buy a legit one. Although it doesn’t fully protect water still gets in, and engine bay gets dusty a lot. As far as engine temps it helped slightly nothing crazy. I use a Mishimoto radiator, and a 24 row oil cooler. Never have issues with cooling ever. I can take it to a track and beat on this thing and I’m confident the temps will never go over 220. My temp stays at 185 when cruising in any weather. If I’m racing doing multiple pulls it will go up to 200-210
