Man I hated Akari’s personality. As someone who knows that they should appreciate the parent who gives their all to them, the way she acted was intolerable.
Same. I had a rebellious phase myself but I had never downgraded the hardwork and love my parents are doing for me nor I am distant from them. I'm just easily irritated by their nagging and we always end up arguing😂

It's not until he has to step up to protect her that she realizes just how much she means to him. I watched my little sister go through this with our dad. One night we got a call. Her and her best friend were babysitting and saw someone outside the house they were at. First time I ever saw that look in my dad's eyes. Cold. After he cleared the area he talked to the girls and calmed them down, explaining it was just somebody crossing the yard. But, my little sister got a whole lot more respectful toward our dad after that.
Yuto might be a bit overwhelming but Akari, his daughter, that was really nasty towards him lately changed completely attitude when she saw her father beating up the gang that was really harassing her. Yuto's friend explained to Akari that her father was a top elite soldier! A better father she couldn't have 👍👍

Honestly I can expect a similar attitude from my daughter if I had one. All I can do is just try and be the father I want to be and not overstep my boundaries.

If she had to switch with another strict type family for a week or something, she would've learned to appreciate her father's actions even more. Most dads these days, especially single dads who would have even less time in their hands wouldn't of done the things he did for his daughter.

This story is actually cute. As a teenager, she don't want to hang out with her father that much, she want to do stuff like a normal highschool student. She saw his father as nuisance, overprotective person who prevent her to do things her way it feels suffocating. But then she saw a completely different person of her father, still an overprotective guy but with the way of hero of justice. She might become father-con is she keep seeing his cool side.
I kinda want a sequel for this. I really love this XD

@@homelander746 how about rebellious phase? Well my sisters don't behave like this towards their father but I can see how it happens. At least I saw how girls in period behave towards their surrounding so she behaving like that is not surprising. Though I agree the way she treats her father is kinda rude.

That was the thing I wasn’t a huge fan of. His daughter is getting messed with right in front of him and the dad is the one who apologized and allowed himself to be spit on even though he could have stopped it.

That's the thing, he showed weakness to the delinquent, thus encouraging him to do worse. You can be empathetic, yet still show strength. He embarrassed his daughter and encouraged the delinquent to do worse the next time!
I lost respect for the MMC and the writer.
And as I thought, Saito (the delinquent) was hitting up the daughter for money. Granted her dad defended her, but she probably wouldn't have been in that situation in the first place if her dad had shown his strength initially!
Ok well 1st of all Fathers have to do what's best for there children, because it is a mother who knows what's best. And her being embarrassed because of the parents is a normal thing to experience it jus shows that they will always be there for you. so be thankful.
and 2nd as a parent they have to understand that they are inn the teens the time where independency is needed. so give them a bit of space because when the time comes all you have to do is just be there for your child.

I know being rebellious is a phase but damn! Akari’s behavior is horrible towards her dad. There was no reason for her to talk to him in that way. The story was good I just didn’t like her that much.
