This was a fun game to watch live. As I said in the chat, absolutely great roster moves! It's a shame about Blinder, but I guess you can only expect him to mitigate manage instead of prevent it. He's not totally useless I guess. Maybe using him like a normal mopup guy would work, and he just will get a little boost when he allows a couple hits? Bender had a big effect on this game, I think. He may have allowed a run, but I think your powerhouse roster would have destroyed a weaker starter. Then when they switched to Rushmore, it's a huge adjustment after getting used to those elite pitches. Let's see how the dogs handle Lumberg for comparison. You win some and you lose some. Keep your chin up, the dogs can do it!

Here's hoping we have better luck next time out against Lumberg. Bender definitely had a huge impact on this game as he mitigated the damage while keeping his team in it long enough and made us just uncomfortable enough to be unable to fully adjust to Rushmore when he entered the game in relief. Blinder did alright, I'm hoping he becomes more effective as the season progresses, but for now we'll have to deal with his growing pains for a bit. Oh man, what a frustrating loss to the Beewolves! Hayai was cruising, but things fell apart in the 7th. He may have been left in 1 inning too long. I don't blame you though. He looked great up until he didn't. Seemed like he still had some gas in the tank. The matchup against Bender was always going to be tough, but what's frustrating is how the bullpen handled our offense when that definitely shouldn't have happened. Let's hope that we can straighten things out next time behind my boy Warren Yout! I'm really excited to see you pitch with him and I'm excited about all of the moves that you made with the team! I'm hoping that you can get comfortable with the new players and can settle in down the home stretch. If not, we make some adjustments in the off-season. It still looks like our bullpen is our weak spot. The offense has been struggling, but the talent is definitely there. I think more of their struggles have been you pressing a bit and swinging out of your shoes with your big bats. I think if you can settle in offensively, and maybe make one more improvement in the pen, and we might have a team that runs the table through the remainder of the regular season and into the playoffs! @Scootsie16 Yeah this was a tough loss to swallow as we outdueled Bender but blew the game late as Hayai got cracked in the 7th. It is what it is though as I've gotten used to that happening at higher EGO difficulties. Still it was an enjoyable game because of how close and exciting it was. Can't wait to pitch with Yout next time out as I've been looking forward to using him in one of the series, and now is finally the time! I hope this strategy of Tier 3 Spirited works out for us as it feels like the right path to go down, that or we eventually worm our way up to Tier 3 Crafty like I normally do and hope for the best. I agree with your assessment as I felt like I was pressing too much and squandered multiple opportunities to score today and in previous games. I'm sure I'll be able to adjust and reward this franchises with the great gameplay and wins they deserve!
