- A little known data-modelling technique enables the creation of n-dimensional data-models that can store any connection or relationship. It allows complex and multi-dimensional structures and hierarchies to be fully defined using data and data structures, without programmatic code.
The technique was introduced by an Australian, Clive Finkelstein, who called it Normalisation to 5th Business Normal Form (not the same as 5th Normal Form). See links below.
