Water in Palawan is contaminated be it Coron or el nido this is why some restos dont serve service water only bottled ones even when asked. I mostly drink bottled or canned drinks and whenever I indulge in a shake I always ask if their water is filtered. Also when Im there I dont use tap water for brushing teeth but filtered ones. First thing I do whenever Im there is to buy a big gallon of mineral/filtered water.
Yeah the locals ended up telling us about the contaminated water there (after Nelvine and Nia got sick). I guess there aren’t any laws there about filtering the water at hotels or restaurants. Is that right?

I'm doing good and I'm back in California now. When I was in the Philippines I had a problem where my face swelled up above my left eye and to the left of my left eye. Then it stabbed up. Everyone said that they thought the heat caused it and it was the first time that happened to me. Anyway things are healing up. Take care and have fun in Japan.
