    I know nothing about bass fishing, but while livescoping for pike and zander it is utmost important not to let the lure sink below the fish. That is a near 100% sure way to get rejected. And the best presentation/cast is just above the targets head and then let it sink to the fish, remembering to not over shoot it. But like I said, I have no experience in bass fishing so might not be applicable. Great videos!

    I’ve been keeping up with your career since the “split” and have been watching your videos for a while and this is the video that convinced me to subscribe. I am very selective to who I subscribe to. The reason that I subscribe to very few pros is because most don’t “give up the goods” with baits, tackle and especially technology (ffs) but you gave up the good today and I respect that! I’m not a tournament angler…just a weekend warrior trying to make the most of the few opportunities I have to go fishing. I just invested in ffs this holiday season and am looking forward to putting it to use this spring. Thanks for the ffs education you gave us today. I don’t need to see fish catches…I’m more interested in how to use the technology and this video did just that. Thanks Chris! This weekend warrior sincerely appreciates it! Warm regards to you and your wife.

I would suggest picking one of the costa events you're most comfortable with and fish it. Keep doing the smaller derbies like the ABAs (pro series or AFTs) and even jackpot a bfl or two. In my experience when they are lower in the water column they prefer to feed up on swim baits. You have to cast past them by 30 or 40 feet then bring it over them. They don’t like swim baits falling straight down.
    If they are schooling and higher in the water land it on their head and they will eat it.

    Last January I finally added my first set of fishing electronics after kayak fishing for 10 years. So I've had it almost a year now. With sales coupon codes & bass pro club points I got my entire set up including lithium battery for around 2670.00+ tax, which includes Echomap Ultra 106sv, Steady Cast heading sensor & Lvs34 System. You can save some coin if you patient!!! It's been an excellent set up! Using the Fishing Specialties kayak bow ducer pole for lvs34. I've fished so long without electronics I find myself mostly fishing the map/waypoints & transducers disabled . I'll scan my area. & Turn them off most of time. I really really like perspective mode! Mostly to fish cover from 15' & shallower. My transducer bracket itself can be adjusted endlessly so I can change angle for different depths, in perspective mode it makes a difference! The transducer bracket is madey fishing specialties also & much better than factory Garmin mount. I do use forward mode to but not nearly as much as perspective. Anything deeper than 15' I'll switch it to forward

The last thing I’d want is to hype it up this much and you guys to get some baits that weren’t up to my standards. I’ve got one shot to earn everyone’s trust or the rest of the bait line we are working on won’t mean much, and we are working on some badass baits.

    The big fish you are seeing around 13-16 minutes in I doubt are bass. Multiple feet long by the looks of it prob big cat or carp. Didn’t react to your baits either. Curious to see if there were other reasons you think they are bass. You kind of explained why you think but It still looks like you were chasing 3ft long fish thinking they were bass

    Hey random comment, I don't even own FFS yet, but is the sonar beam not a cone? So when you're making a 50ft cast, the landing zone you're seeing on the 2d screen is probably 25ft wide. How do you know you're anywhere near the fish or whether it's to the left or right of your boat?

    Cool video. Is what you showed on the Lowrance similar to perspective view on the Garmin? What is that red reel you were using? Keep bringing the heat! @Zaldaingerous

    Chris i watch all your videos. I tried to see if this question was already asked, and didn't find it. Why did you decide to go with Lowrance instead of Garmin for the perspective view?

    • @Zaldaingerous
      @Zaldaingerous  8 месяцев назад +1

      1) there are two camps: those that say at2 is the better live tech and many that say Garmin is, so I wanted the option to have both. I’m actively switching between the two brands to see which one thrives in perspective and which one for regular, and prepared if one drops a new transducer mid-season.
      2) Lowrance has the best waypoint management out of any brand & the latest navionics plus chips shine over Lakemaster in a few of the lakes we go to so I want to be able to run both chip brands.

      @@Zaldaingerous thanks for replying. That makes sense to have both to be able to form your own opinion! I Love your stuff man. Wish I could boat some with you on Fork someday.

    Jb Thomas has some studs in it. Muddy water keeps lot of people off it.
