Thank you once again for taking me through my old neighborhood, Johnny. I grew up here in the 70s on Inwood Avenue just off of salmon Avenue and one Street north of Danforth Tech and St Aloysius, to be precise.👍🤙❤🇨🇦
I drove the 56 back in the mid-2000s, best part of that route is going over the bridge with that amazing skyline view. When Line 5 opens, this route will be cancelled and replaced by a restructured and extended 51 Leslie route.
My mother was born when my grandparents lived at 112 Donlands in the 1940’s. Nice to see the street where they lived. Next time I go to Toronto I want to take a walk around there.
The bungalows of upper beaches East York were built for the returning veterans of World War 2… circa 1950s The location is ideal for quick access to downtown TO and to walk to subway line…. It was a great place to grow up with many young working class families. Kiwanis swimming pool and Dieppe park/outdoor ice rink made this area fun! Legendary John candy went to Holy Cross catholic elementary school. Lovely to see the old area!

Hello Johnny great video! ❤
Donlands Diner is worth a visit.
Hello from Montreal QC ! .. and hello everyone ! ..
I love your videos. What does it look like to the passerby when you are walking?
Enjoyed the walk and the bus ride. Don't understand the purpose of that second entrance to Donlands station.
It’s probably to meet fire code requirements for a second exit.
Emergency exit. I live nearby. Took them over 5 years to complete it.
Good morning
Jan 17 ? Oh well it was really cold, that's an excuse, we'll go with that. Just like your first vid
