@mentourpilot - Wanted to chime in right quick and thank you for making this video… I am fairly loyal to the individuals I subscribe too and I found Kelsey a long time ago.. never searched for any other pilots as I never felt the need too… and as silly as it sounds, this video with you two sincerely makes me feel like I am not betraying(cheating on.. 🤪 )Kelsey’s channel 😉
A long time ago,the man who taught me trucking quit and started driving charter buses, but it wasn’t long before he got back in a truck. I asked him what happened and he said,”I got tierd of my freight bitching at me,trying to barrow money,or wander off during stops.” He was a lot happier hauling inanimate cargo.
I use to do Motorsports photography and product photography and people would always ask or want me to do people. I seldom did it because of the same reasons. Taking photos of a car or motorcycle on a track, it does what it does and I do what I do and I don't have to deal with people.
I was a train driver for over 30 years. Drove freight and passengers and never once thought about passengers behind me. It was just a train to me. Keep yourself safe and everyone else is safe with you.
Seeing this video 2 years later brings back a lot of memories... freeways in L.A. with no traffic, no contrails in the skies from flights... glad we're past that and I hope we never see anything like it again. Petter & Kelsey, glad you both made it through and are continuing to entertain & inform us! Keep up the great work!
Unfortunately, we most likely will see that again. Humanity gets struck with this kind of thing every 60-80 years or so; it's just the nature of diseases. But we're getting a lot better at handling them. The death rate of COVID was 70-100 times smaller than the death rate of the previous pandemic, the Spanish flu from a century before. If anything, it's a good reminder that we, for a change, did something right.
One of the good things about the lockdown is the awesome collaborations that are happening! Two of the best and nicest aviation guys on youtube, love it!

The Dreamlifter looks like a 747 suffering from a severe seafood allergy reaction.
Got a buddy flying 747 freighters, he says full load in and out takes same time as refuelling if the ground has its act together.
Max take off and landing weight can be way up on a freighter so speeds are up
I really enjoy this collaboration between you two guys..... this... is ....awesome !!! :D
Funny thing is that the Dream lifter looks a lot like the Airforce/NASA Guppy. My uncle designed the original guppy in order to transport various rocket segment/stages. My uncle XXXXXX designed many aircraft and ICBM's among others during his Airforce tenure.
Covid has made me seriously consider becoming a cargo pilot for my whole career. This video gave a lot of insight
Mentour Pilot and Kelsey. What an episode ! Thank you . Two awesome guys to learn from.
When you really start digging into everything going into IFR flight, it just cascades into different fields of science.
I was already guessing you're an instructor just from the way you break down and teach stuff (thank you!).
It will take me a while before I get back in MSFS2020 - I'm still just one week into binging on all your videos!
I don’t know if you guys have ever done any other Collabs, but you are my two favorite aviation channels by far and I’m not into aviation, other than having flown remote control planes and helicopters as a kid and adult, and always loved the commercial jets the bigger, the better Anyway love your channels, more collaborations please !
Love collars like this! Agree that a collab with all 4 of you, 74gear, Mentourpilot, Flywithcaptainjoe and Dutchpilotgirl would be epic! You are all so good at explaining all aspects of aviation with your different series of videos. Yore awesome and the international aspect of it and the total lack of ego is wonderful! In Joes case we have also followed his career move from A320 pax to 747 cargo. You are all very good content creators!
Awesome collaboration. Love both of your channels. Thanks for being awesome.
I know I'm almost a year late to this one considering I just found your channel but the pharmacist in me has to comment, "Wear sunscreen!" The amount of rays you are getting sitting up in the cockpit - SUNSCREEN STAT!! :)
GREAT video you two, found you both in the past couple months and love the different spins on a variety of aviation topics :) Keep up the great work.
I live in Alaska. Interesting to hear about Cargo flights in and out of Anchorage
I am a retired cargo pilot. this was a great episode. Just love you and Kelsey yall are the best!
"another 2 weeks at least" - man I hope Petter can look back and laugh at those words nearly a year later rather than cry!
Bravo to Mentour Pilot and Kelsey, wonderful presentation! I was happy to know you two guys are comrads, and clearly work well together...likely because of parallel character traits/values.
