While the look, to me, is a mix between StarCraft and Red Alert 3, I'm into it. Unit veterancy is always nice to see. I'll certainly give this a shot when it drops.
Stormgate was my idea i came up with. because i was mad about the raven nerfs in sc2, and how Blizzard never nerfed protoss storm, so long story short I said they should make a new game and call it Stormgate etc, etc. lol
I bet if the general public got to play these new rts games before the sc2 pros the pros would get stomped like the rest of us when they finally got to play. It's really discouraging to rts fans who want to be really good at the games
1) Probably not. The pros are still going to have superior mechanics, so unless you catch them literally reading tooltips while playing 1v1, you'd be in trouble. 2) Most of the general public is really not that concerned with this "problem" so I disagree on the second sentence. 3) You can still be good at the game even with a late start. Now onto your other comment as well 4) "Why is it always pros who get early access when they are the people who need it the least?" Because they're often going to give better feedback AND they'll give better marketing than anyone else if they tweet "hey this is fun". 5) Accessing the alpha, beta, or early access isn't for people to get *better* before others lol. It's for the advertising/marketing, for the specific feedback, and for balance checks. Not to mention many of us who are given these things (although I also did buy the Kickstarter early access option as well...) were giving feedback and advice and free consultation to FG. 6) Isn't there an argument that people who are tying their professional horse to this cart *should* be given earlier access? I'm not really interested in the argument because I think pay-to-early-access or lucky-beta-draw is universal and fine, but you're crying like you "deserve" something and it's like...does anyone "deserve" it and if someone does...isn't it the people who have put their careers in RTS and whom SG was hoping to give a ray of hope to for a professional future?
@ZombieGrub I meant it like if everyone was lucky enough to have early access, and especially the opportunity to play games all day everyday, without real responsibilities, would drastically level the playing field. We would find hundreds of new people who would be at the top. I'm not saying I would lol. I'm not very good at explaining what I mean. Especially in a comment.
Why is it always pros who get early access when they are the people who need it the least? So they can stay pro? While nobody else gets to learn early? So infuriating to see the few people who don't need extra practice to get to play way sooner than everyone else
@TheTechnoJelly maybe I'll try again because it was a couple weeks ago. But it was really frustrating watching people play on youtube when it was denying me
Mom, can I play sc2 with my friends?
No son, we have sc2 at home

You need about 2 Lancers and 2 Exos to reliably kill the initial creeps.
Okay, noted! Thanks :D
wild you kept the right side mini map 😵💫
I forgot it could change ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ and I get used to new RTS I guess
Looks like a bootleg SC2. Looks more cartoony than WC or SC.

watching the cat was much more interesting than watching this game.

who cares, important thing is that you enjoy the game and don't take it too seriously.
@pupper5580 the entire point is that I CANT play the game lmao and by the time I can, there will be people with hundreds of hours of practice already

You can buy the early access package to play right now
@TheTechnoJelly I tried. An I got a message that was something like "an invitation is required"

@TheTechnoJelly just tried. All the early access packs are and I quote "not available"
