Africans want to dance (as you can see in the video, where few Namibian males doing their traditional dances), while foreigners tend to take life a little bit more serious. That's the difference. The day that you long for will come only when Africans, especially the males start to take life a little bit more serious. So, let's just hope that day comes. For the sake of the future generations who are being produced now, who by the way have no say in being brought into this world, let's hope that we start looking at life for what it truly is.

There is such a thing as white fragility you'll see it here in these comments white people fail to see the evils of their ways they will commit the most evil and despicable genocide, be responsible for all the corruption in the world while placing the blame on all of the indigenous people.... Africa has one problem and it's been a problem for Africa from day 1 and that is European's and they're extremely insidious, corrupt government's.

So tell me brother is this video lie, doese he not help community? Surely u realize no One company can help every person to have work. Skill n crafts doese he not give? They can Branch out n get investors of color n start their own company in parts of Africa where just looting n forced loans are given, no good job given just to dig by hand. This create big opportunity if one sees n understand s where they can carry this to not just look at stay where they r n not grow that a colonized mind who believe they can not do anything more than what they are given, unity is strength , Are they still there today doing same improve the lives n skills of its employees? Are most of employees still African? If the video is true many here are missing the big picture of great opportunities that are open for these people to give to more of our people n come to own their own mining n processing n sales n other parts of Africa. Blacks w much money like in Atlanta, Georgia USA could be possible investors. These whites don't do these things w just their own money they have investors that help them. It's sad to read hopeless thinking of my people 💔 n d Homeland just like in America believe they can not think bigger n just sit waiting for someone to hand them everything, when they are getting the #1 tool skills which can fuel their growth towards there own ownership. If video is true stop looking a gift horse in d mouth, examine the whole of d horse n go n train others seek how can we own our own. Find out what is needed to own your own mining from A to Z. A man w/ out vision for himself n his people is like a dry well. Just saying u will Never see this in America here they tear down everything we build. And will never give such skills to a group of us only one of us if any n they make sure the one they allow in amoungst their thousands to give you miss information or trouble on job so you don't build your skills to a higher degree.

I am so disappointed. If our people's aspirations is merely to have a job that you keep until you are 60, then we expect too little from ourselves. From the politicians to the workers , I realized our aspirations and expectations of ourselves are so low. How can the president just be satisfied with the Almod CEO statement of Tate Silas and meme being partners in the organization, 2 people? How can he be satisfied with skills transfers only, where else will our people go and use those skills besides being slaves to help the white men make millions of dollars from our resources, if we are not using these so called investors to leverage a ground for ourselves in the long run ? And the white communication lady, when you teach someone how to fish, where would our black people be able to use those polishing skills ever again? Unless if we Namibians take over ownership of our natural resources of course. But by hearing everyone of the politician speak in here, I am not surprised we have no long-term agenda for ourselves. That we are satisfied giving away our resources away for cheap. I am tired of hearing about jobs these, skills transfers this and jobs this. We gotta have a long-term vision and agenda beyond that dammit! Is out future generations going to eat those goddamit skills? We need a long term-agenda for managing and full control of our own resources as Africans. You can tell the workers are coached and almost brainwashed to be able to say everything positive about this bunch of thieves, and even if they are not, the position they are in makes them inevitable to speak ill of the hand that feeds them. It saddens me that the black Almods workers in the documentary are almost clown-like, shimmeying and cooning etc :( . And look at that white ma's face... straight all throughout and he is clearly set up to impress the president.

You meant to say this is a "documentary" no kidding ? because it's not. It's a corporate film about the diamond industry. Unfortunately the makers of this film doesn't know the difference between documentary and corporate film

Like the copper mines, the bauxite, the quartz: it all comes to an end one day. And the buck stops and the white men leave; leaving nothing but grief and emptiness behind. Crown of light indeed. For whom? Namibia's diamonds must be owned by Namibians. Not pale foreigners.

Our Rich black peoples don’t take advantage or our resources and invest in the continent and create jobs and better the continent, all they do is open a foreign account send their money or the money they steal from the country and keep it there for the white people to use it and develop their country so surely the white people will come to our land take the opportunity and if very sad but still we the new generation can make a change especially those in the diaspora we have to prepare our self mentally, physically and financially and go back and invest and educate and support so that we can transform our motherland a better place ✊🏾God bless Africa ✌🏾✊🏾🙏🏾💯I’m Ghanaian 🇬🇭 base in the state and I have always wanted to visit Namibia and I will surely visit one day inshaallah peace ✌🏾

This man is a Fine example of how investors should do when going into Africa. God Bless.😂 I have never seen this whites allowing training n giving skills to Africans. This the love of people. I'm speechless w happy tears. In America we African Americans get our college degrees n most of us can't even get good job n chance to work in the field we spent thousands to obtain. Absolutely beautiful what they are doing.❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I am glad they talk about the income inequality although the documentary should go further in depth. I am a (black) East African. I believe the native Namibians should be given a fair share of the Diamond industry income, but I also do not think the Westerners should be chased away. The government of Namibia should do all it can to strike a balance, where everyone gets a fair share of the pie. If they do nothing, things are going to get out of control and Namibia is going to end up like South Africa or even worse
