If you listen clearly, you can hear Ed's voice surround the entire room. Its almost as if though, he has more than one voice and I am not talking about the back vocals, I heard the same thing when he solo performed with only his guitar, on a stage. His harmonizations are so great that it could be considered perfect, even if perfect doesn't exist. That's what makes Ed Sheeran so special. The reason he is so great at every song he sings or at every song we suggest him to sing, is because he changes in into his on harmony and rhythm so it works for him, which makes it so beautiful. Ed's mind is filled with music, more than anyone I have ever seen. I would pay even R2000,00 money to see his concert. But I can't because I live in South Africa. So I can only watch him on TV and RUclips. But either way, he is, in my opinion, the best singer ever. I don't just love Ed coz he can sing, it's the fact he came from nothing, from being homeless, to where he is now. He has come so far and gained so much, I'm so proud. By far the best singer around❤️
To be honest, Ed doesn't need any back up singers or many sets like that. All he needs is his guitar, loop pedal & beautiful voice. Because I'm not sure if you noticed but with extra sounds, it numbs out his voice a lot. He still sang amazing, don't get me wrong but his guitar, loop pedal & him are incomparable to when he sings with back up singers & sets.

To be honest, Ed doesn't need any back up singers or many sets like that. All he needs is his guitar, loop pedal & beautiful voice. Because I'm not sure if you noticed but with extra sounds, it numbs out his voice a lot. He still sang amazing, don't get me wrong but his guitar, loop pedal & him are incomparable to when he sings with back up singers & sets.
I completely agree, but I believe radio 1 don't give the artists a lot of leeway for their covers.
