I visited her shop several times on many occasions. Prices have been altered by increase in beads price and wool as well.Overall the handicrafts and handloom were good,shopkeeper were very hospitable.

I greatly appreciate what she's doing as through this business she's preserving the tradition and culture, however as I can see she's running this business by her own and a business person have to gather/collect products/materials from places, not just one place and it takes time/energy/effort. Here, about the prices compared with the village, I would like to say, if someone have to buy just one products then instead of going all the way to village he/she would rather buy from the shop which is nearby, right? And she's also helping those villagers who are selling those products to her(I'm not saying she's paying billions) however instead of stocking those products say for months/years why not sell it to someone, if not some other people from outside like mainlainders/non local will buy it and they will be selling those same products for double the price she's selling right now. And talking about "price bisi ase" have you ever bought from her directly ? If it's no then just don't comment randomly, she's mentioning all the prices in the video doesn't mean she won't negotiate, if you would like to buy then go and negotiate it with her, maybe she'll drop down the prices. And one should have the knowledge about the prices of the beads and material in the market, moreover everything is not available in mon. Therefore, please dont just comment or type as you like it without a second thought, just for a second appreciate someone who's working hard to keep the hearth warm and preserving the tradition at the same time, some positive vibes will help! ✌

Well, not judging but just my opinion:- I know how much they're struggling in making these products but how I wish if the price is little cheaper so that everyone could afford for it since it's a traditional or uniform for konyaks.

It's very reasonable. I have seen Konyak bags being sold in Shillong for ₹ 1500--2000. That was 10 years ago. I don't know how much they would cost there these days. Some people buy our bags at a cheap rate from Mon and sell them outside at high prices. Our local weavers do all the hard work but they barely make enough money.

Please don't comment just because someone's selling handmade products which are highly priced, it's costly because it's handmade/handloom products which takes time and first, one should have the knowledge of the cost of beads these days and cost of making charge and know that all the materials are not available in mon so one have to buy/order from outside of mon, everything have a cost of it's own, remember its not some luxury brand but just a small local business so that she can help provide her family. In a world full of negativity please be someone who sees things in a positive kind of way.
