I am so relieved after reading the comments below that everyone supports this teaching. How many times have l sunk into fear and despair after reading comments by believers that argue that God will cut us off from himself if we wander away and then come to our senses and return to Him. It has taken me a very long time to dare to believe that my salvation is secure. Not to mention all those hell testimonies that abound describing many christians in hell for various reasons. What a journey it has been, but praise be to our Lord for his faithfulness to us, even when we are not. ❤

Since we didn’t feel the Holy Spirit enter our body at salvation, we also wouldn’t feel Him leave if we could lose salvation. That would drive anyone crazy trying to live that way. Salvation is forever thank God!

The Bible teaches, we will be saved, might be saved. That's why we put our faith & trust in the Lord Jesus Christ to save us. Also its the soul that sinneth, Ezekiel 18. The body responds to the soul. The soul that sinneth, it shall die.

Great job Trent. Also, if we could lose our salvation, that would mean that our born-again spirit got corrupted somehow when the bible says that is impossible. 1st Peter 1:23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.

Never in my life did I think that this would ever be an issue. It's always been so clear cut to me until all the agendas started coming in the later years. I strongly believe based on scripture that people who don't believe that salvation is secure haven't come to the revelation of what the Gospel actually means or what it even is and therefore, unsaved. Quite sad and I see clearly why Jesus warned that broad is the way that leads to destruction and many there be that go by it. Sincerely I don't argue this topic. The Bible is clear and all the cults and denominations get it wrong horribly because of one main flaw...They fail to rightly divide the scriptures. They try to harmonize every book, passage and verse which is impossible. The whole thing saddens me because these people actually oppose themselves and willfully remain ignorant of the grace of God.

I have thought the same thing. We either accept the Gospel as it is or we don’t. We either place our trust in Christ taking on the wrath of God IN OUR PLACE for the penalty for our sins or we don’t. Additionally, if we feel that we must add our own “good works” to what Christ did, then we are essentially saying that what Christ did on the cross is insufficient. In all these cases, trust was not placed in the Savior and therefore salvation has not occurred.

I do have a question though, I'm at the part where he's talking about, "That's why our body has to die because it's our flesh that's sinning" and he grabs his arm... But it isn't the skin that wraps around my bones that is sinning.. it's something that comes from the heart and the mind... So I don't really fully understand, if anyone cares to explain lol 🌹
The ONLY thing that stands in the way of assurance is understanding his word and rightly dividing it and most of all believing it 🌹

This is why the bible says we must be die with christ. Why we must crucify our flesh. Because in the flesh lives much sin. Namely, pride. With pride, one cannot give everything to christ. With pride, one will believe that they can do what it takes to be saved. We must become dead to our flesh. Release our pride so that we can realize that only christ can save us. There is nothing the flesh can do to earn salvation. Isaiah 64:4 says that our righteousness is like filthy rags before God. How can a filthy rags clean anything, let alone itself? It cannot. So, do not walk in the flesh, thinking that YOU can do anything to please God. Because you cannot. We can only please God through christ in us and we can only have christ in us when we put our faith in him for his sacrifice. Jesus says in the gospel that to get to heaven, our righteousness needs to surpass that of the pharisees. And even the pharisees were condemned by Jesus. And they even followed the strictest laws. Couldn't imagine any of us would fare any better, much less, surpass them. So then how can our righteousness surpass the pharisees? By making Christ's righteousness our righteousness because only Jesus righteousness is able to surpass the pharisees.

If we could lose salvation that means we could come back under condemnation an law of sin [1] There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. [2] For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. An thats why gospel is so pure a child can get it because its purely prefessing christ so that he loses known nothing can take you from the lord you will be chastised on this earth for your sins an death here which could be a very early death but Christ will not loose you even some might loose him he wont loose you

For anyone who struggles with assurance, here is your answer: Jesus said if you believe and have faith in Him, you are saved and jesus is no liar. That proves you are saved right there. If you believe. Don't listen to the false teachers who try to make it look like jesus never said that. They will convince you they are right with their degrees* and their blasphemous accusations against jesus by saying "salvation by faith alone is of the devil!" Do not listen to them. They are like the pharisees of old. All you have to do is read the gospel and look at the whole reason jesus rebuked the pharisees: because they taught that they were better than everyone else for their works. Read the entire book of John. Romans 3:10-31. All of galatians. Paul says numerous times it is by faith. He even tells a prison guard. The guard asked Paul "what must I do to be saved?" To which Paul replied "believe and you will be saved." Don't you think God loves us enough that he wants us all to go to heaven? And if he loves us that much, isn't it logical to say that he would make it as clear and easy as possible to do so? So why when the bible says "believe and you shall be saved." Do you think it means works and turn from sin? You believe the sky is blue, yes? Do you have to do anything to prove you bel8eve the sky is blue? No! Belief is belief. Faith is faith. And works are works. Works are not faith. They can come from faith, but works are not faith. Neither do they prove faith. Look at judas. He did all kinds of works. He performed miracles and yet he still wasn't saved. Why? He lacked one thing the rest of the Apostles had, Faith/belief. He did not believe jesus was the messiah. He had a different, idol version of who and what the messiah would do. Calvinists slam free grace but the bible says "the message of the gospel is foolishness to those who are perishing." That alone should prove calvinists are lost.
