I've used exposure lights for more than 15 years, mostly off road on rough tracks! I still have the first "Enduro" model I bought which is about the same size as a Toro. It still works perfectly but is only 720 lumens - how technology has moved on! It's still good for my road bike. It can be a little bit tricky to slot the light into the handlebar mount but once it's in there it is never coming out until you release it. It's also rock solid and doesn't vibrate like some bungee mounted lights.
A side benefit is that you have the best torch you will ever own!

I used it a few times last winter on off road rides. It's a nice feature and worked well.

Hired one off them for them at the strathpuffer, they put the mount on initially it fell off half way round the first lap I used it the went into red the second lap,I personally think they are way over priced

I'm assuming the mount wasn't on tight enough? Did you enjoy Strathpuffer, what was your result?

    Have to disagree.
Had the MaxxD years ago & went wrong a few times. Plus that handlebar mount is the WORST thing I've ever used. The lights are too heavy & they come loose & fall off.
My brother got so annoyed with his pinging off on a descent he hurled it away into the scenery. Never to be seen again.
I saw an Axxis headlight for a good deal recently so thought I'd give them another go. Nope. Still crap. Seems if you leave it for any length of time it loses all its charge or just won't turn on.
My £15 Chinese lights are way better value.

Sorry to hear about your bad experience with Exposure lights. My experience has been quite the opposite. I'm glad to hear you found a solution that works for you. For me, I'm afraid I don't trust cheap Chinese lights, I've seen first hand the damage dodgy batteries can cause. Moon makes some phenomenal lights though, as do Magic shine. Happy trails!
