I've never had that problem with any of my Chrysler vehicles but yep I bought my first Toyota every single connection breaks Oh what a wonderful quality vehicle!
Every vehicle manufacturer has their weak points. I’m a die hard Toyota fan and yes they do screw up but at least their weaknesses aren’t with the engine or transmission or suspension. I’d take a broken connector over a blown motor any day.

lightly lift on the zip tie and it will slide out
You just cut the wires and zip tie them back together
