I think the traffic jam in New Delhi was caused by the rail crossing. There's a lot of trains going there meaning that the crossing is often closed and with this road being one of the main ones, there is simply a lot of traffic and because of the wait times it simply backs up
Hey Seniac, started watching your videos recently and have been loving it so far. Just one suggestion from my side is that why not create a long flyover over Lower/South Delhi to Upper/North Delhi across the river for the cars to avoid any traffic jams at 48:07 junction.
Well good news in IRL New Delhi to Kolkata High Speed Rail Corridor (HSR) aka Bullet Train Project has currently entered Feasibility Study phase in February 2024 and will most likely be approved by 2026.
Couple of questions? Are you actually using the bypass lines at Gayá? Or are they added now just in case you want to use them later? Secondly, what is the purpose of the freight platform sections at these stations? Obviously it could allow freight to be delivered. But wouldn’t it be a slow unload due to the train being much longer than the platform. It would also cause conflict with passenger services. I get the feeling there is a good reason for this single sections. But can’t work out what it is.
You really wanna change the tracks in the first HST , they slow dramatically in the peninsula like Coimbatore to tinnelveli - just look at the speed it is not even 120 i guess
At the high speed stations, I would've thought bypass lines would be most useful on the commuter lines rather than high speed line.

Did no one notice the high rise building being built through the elevated tracks in ND at 54min?
