Scheid Diesel makes unbent VE to 24v style lines, or you can have adapters made to go from the VE pump to factory 24v lines. You'll need to have the pop pressure changed on your injectors to match the VE pop pressure also.
Ive used those scratch pens u get at like autozone or whatever to paint bolts thst got marked up while instaling. They work great and you can match the vegicle color perfectly
I don’t usually comment but I rebuild fuel injection systems and I think the opening pressure on the injectors is going to be to high for the VE PUMP and it can wipe the cam out in the pump I would suggest take if the injector form 320br and dropping them to about 240br to keep the pump alive

12:00 "Don't loose the keyway..." You cannot loose the keyway as the keyway is the slot machined into the pump shaft. The _key_ then fits into the keyway. This seems to be a common mistake that people make.
Having a vp makes you poor? Lolz like they don’t cost thousands of dollars to upgrade the pump just like all the other pumps. Idk how a poor person would afford one anyway. Im not poor and it’s still rough at times.
This is America and you can do whatever you want. However, as a common rail fan, I just don't see the point of a CR swapped 2nd gen in this situation. A CR swapped 2nd gen is awesome, but you have multiple CR's, so why not try to get as much as you can out of the VP or P-pump it? But hell, it's your shit, do as you wish..

There was guys doing this about 10 years ago to the vp44 trucks swaping to the ve pumps. Just to get away from the vp44.

Get time sert m12x1.5 fittings, and they will thread onto the ve delivery valves, and adapt to the m14 ve lines. Then you can run stock vp lines

If you run a non ic ve pump, the lines fit perfectly.. Iv you use the 91.5-93 pump you'll need to tweak the lines a little..

Pretty sure you can’t get the tappets out from the tappet cover. I just replaced my tappet cover Saturday, I can’t see anyway they’d come out there.
