Miss you on Pinside Derek. You're always a wealth of information. I just sent this tutorial to a buddy that is picking up a WW next week. Don't let the PS negativity derail you man. Appreciate your insights always.
Thanks for the kind words James! Hope your friend enjoys Wonka, I still consider it one of the greats. This tutorial is a little bit dated after the 2.0 software but mostly still applies.
Great video! Just found your channel and subbed.. thanks for the explanation i know allot more than now than I did before! Thanks for the great content!
Fantastic and super helpful video (this is naf_llabip from Pinside, Pinball_Fan backwards), nice magnet action at 18 mins :-) Guys, once Derek offered to help install a very complicated lighting system on another machine of mine and he doesn't know me from Adam, just a helpful guy to any stranger, the world needs more Dereks.
I dont mean to be offtopic but does anybody know a way to log back into an Instagram account? I was stupid lost the account password. I love any tips you can give me.
Home pinball is such a relationship type of thing. You work on them. Not like arcade stuff at all. I just don't like it taking my picture! Parts of Willy Wonka are pretty dark.
Hi, in Willy Wonka pinball there are secret things to do to get tickets, e.g if you hold both flippers and cycle through all the status you get a ding ..BUT there was one thing where during the game it gave it awarded 2 million points!! Are there any other serets we can know about?
Question. When I get Umpa Loompa multiball all of my lights practically go out and the playfield turns green where you can't hardly see anything. You're machine didn't do that. I don't believe I'm running the latest code and I have a CE. Any advice?
Seems normal to me - the green shots are ones you need to hit to unlock the super jackpot. They turn orange after you hit them. My playfield was bright because I light it externally for streams using Pinstadium XStreams attached to the rails. It's important to over-light the playfield when streaming to keep the camera from getting lost in auto exposure/focus.
Well, put it this way...we bought an SE, played it 5000 times, sold it for a CE which we've played 8000 times. And I bought a spare playfield/plastics to refresh it down the road. So....yeah :)
Great game. I just got an LE. I’ve had a ton of issues off the bat but their service has been good and I fixed them. I also own Godzilla and thought I wouldn’t play wonka but I keep coming back and play them equally

You can turn it off. There is an option before you start.

The 2M award was probably a collect bonus w/ lots of bars + a SuperX!
@@DJSArcade It was very early on the first ball, from something like 15 -20 seconds.

why. do you have a Female voice doing call outs? I only have a british male voice
The collector's edition has callouts from Veruca Salt actress Julie Dawn Cole. Thanks for watching!
What’s your thoughts on game? Worth keeping
