I am not so sure. The only thing in common is that they us XRPL. That is not a positive for XRP. RLUSD is being set up to do everything XRP was originally meant to do.
Long emphasized that RLUSD, set to launch soon, is designed to "complement" XRP, particularly in facilitating the most efficient cross-border flows. While XRP will continue to play a central role in Ripple's payment solutions, the introduction of RLUSD aims to complement the use of XRP in this regard.
@@Kinetic252 I hear you, but RLUSD leveraging XRPL is going to have an almost zero affect on XRP, I think. Using the same blockchain does not make a token rise just because another one rises. That would be akin to MATIC rising just because LINK rises.

The XRP token will be used only if the Banks and Financial institutions are using xRapid which requires the use of XRP. What if they only use Xcurrent, Xvia and RLUSD as the Bridge Currency?
So with the launch of RLUSD there will be no use whatsoever for XRP. What's to stop RLUSD from becoming the Bridge Currency used by the Financial Institutions. XRP was suppose to be the bridge currency and On Demand Liquidity used by the Financial Institutions that are using XRapid. You seriously question whether XRP will go up in value? Resoectfully, my friend, wgatvare you looking at? XRP is going to absolutely launch. The biggestbwallets are accumulating to the tune of 9 figures in rhe last few weeks. Bro, thats 1% of the entire float!!! In a month.

The RLUSD will affect the xrp price because it will use the xrpl

Quite possible
