Introduction to Migration Theory

Hein de Haas holds an extraordinary professorship in Migration and Development at UNU-MERIT/MGSoG. He is also Research Associate at the International Migration Institute (IMI) of the University of Oxford. He was previously, from 2011 - 2015, Co-Director of the IMI and, from 2006 - 2015, a Senior Researcher and University Lecturer in Migration Studies at the Oxford Department of International Development (ODID) at the University of Oxford. Hein de Haas has a PhD in social sciences (Radboud University of Nijmegen, the Netherlands), MA (cum laude) in human and environmental geography (University of Amsterdam) and an undergraduate degree in cultural anthropology. bit.ly/1Nxi3nD
