As a data scientist, this sums up the job profile. People have these ridiculous expectations from us and then get mad when they don’t see magic happening. Our jobs are just to analyze the data and develop models based on the dataset we’re able to access. But a lot of the times, upper management try and skew the data to make themselves look good and show the higher ups that their stupid ideas are actually working when in reality they’re not. So this scene is pretty much factual of how data analytics is.

I think in reality purging would end up being low class versus upper class. The rich would hunker down behind walls and locks and the poor would spend the night trying to eat them.

While their implementation of the Purge may have provided a temporary solution to a overall "problem", by the time we get to the last movie, the country ends up falling apart anyway as the purge doesn't end and the government loses absolute control of its citizens. I think a civil war broke out in the States once the purge continued indefinitely but that would bring a whole host of problems for any surviving government, the people and the NFFA. Certainly, America's place in the world would fall as worrying about foreign policy or any other issue would take a backseat as the factions in the US battled it out until a winner was determined... but Americans fighting against Americans? I imagine that price would incredibly severe 😳
