Bought the orange one during Olight sale a few weeks ago. I work construction at night and is used every night so far. A little expensive but was worth it in my field of work.
LOVE YOUR VIDEOS, THEY ARE DETAILED! thank you GA
just a heads up the aperature port cover is only a dust cover and isn't water proof, but the usb-c port itself is water proof, so if you get water inside the port you need to open the aperature and air it out
I bought the orange limited edition and it literally came in the day you dropped this video.. I’ve been playing with it all weekend camping, charged it up and headed out. I was able to have it last the whole trip. And I was giving her the beans occasionally it’s an impressive light. The throw was able to really fling out it might not be very strong at 800 meters but I’d say it could do it. Hung it in a tree and used it to set up camp at level 5 flood
I purchased the Olight Marauder 2 Flashlight in Desert Camo from the Thanksgiving special at $258.40. I was struggling a bit with the wheel and turning on the light. I got online with a service rep, they were fast and friendly. The light is a great power source, once I figured out all their features. As a female, it is a bit bulky trying to turn the wheel to get the flashlight button to turn on the light I understand it's a safety feature but can be a challenge feeling like I need two hand operation for a flashlight. I like the 14,000 lumens and the power of this light. Yes, I want USA made products as well but the reality is I can't find it for every product I use. Thanks for the product review, it helped me understand the features better.
Didn’t know about the spot light mode. Thanks for your great videos!
Great video Don!
For the record, the spotlight is only a max of 850 lumens. The 14,000 is only for the flood.
Thanks for filming
Imagine how perfect it would be if we have the two modes working at the same time
imalent r60c....
LMAO when you flipped on the light in your living room , I was wondering why you turned on the “interior light “ ....Holy Crap that’s frickin’ bright.....👍🏽
Just got mine last week and it is a beast , but with incredible features to boot.
what time you get with max power ?
Thank you for the video.
I got a olight ad before watching this olight ad
Great edc light. I can’t wait to clip it to my hat.
I love that the diode is a square lol
They all are
thanks sootchoo for the flashlight video!! keep up the good work you do for us!!!
Great light... I want one!!
At $329 it better be a dam good light lol
@@Ascadians I bet you a million dollars it ain't 90,000 lumens
@@Studat, the Chinese always add an extra zero.
@@JeffWallace2009 😂😂😂😂how could I forget, my apologies sir😊
@@Ascadians keep us posted or dm please
I was thinking the same thing. I can’t see paying that much for a light.
I just picked up the Baton 3 Premium in red, so I'd be in the doghouse for sure if I picked this up on top of that! Great flexibility here, though
OMG, I LOVE mine!!!! If it only fit on a Judge; lol.
I missed the flash sale. I was an hour late when I realized it. I did get a light from olight for my pistol though. Works great. I'll be watching for the next flash sale!!
Just found your channel and subscribed
I have the Maurader2, I use it to scare off Great Horned Owls that kill my chickens. In narrow beam it is soooooo brite!
Save the owls. Kill the chickens!
@@fredweis2383 ok brainiac. Great horned owls are not endangered and I could get a permit to dispatch it. Yet, I use a flashlight instead to scare them off. Maybe because of you i should get that permit!
@@fredweis2383 shut up fred. They kill my chickens too but I got fed up and got a permit to kill them and I most certainly do. Have killed about 40 so far. They're a plague here in Texas just like the hogs I constantly hunt and eat.
Man that really sucks they’re beautiful animals. But i feel at times if they’re not endangered and and causing property damage or harming your means of living its fine to take care of them as they’re now pests.
Is that those owls that will only eat the heads? They killed my ducks and only ate the heads, leaving headless ducks behind
5:53 the focused Max setting is NOT 14000 lumens. The light puts out about 14k lumens at the maximum flood setting. The maximum brightness of the center throw led is about 1100 lumens at the max setting.
👍🏽😎i just bought this and the baton 3 as a bundle deal on Amazon 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽😊🎄
The batteries will go bad in time but I can't get new batteries for it, do I have to buy a new flashlight? And how long can it last if I use it everyday?
If you’re going to try and express the light difference at night set your camera to manual so it doesn’t auto adjust the exposure as you’re changing the flashlight output. Otherwise it does literally nothing for the light.
Batteries incased.
Meaning you can’t personally replace them only Olight can?
Not a fan of that square beam pattern on the spot setting..... What do you think
why does audio amplitude and quality drop when you switch camera for close up
Got my Acebeam X50 40000 Lumen, Happy with that :)
I wonder how hot it gets and how fast
That's quite a bright I.E.D.
For when you need the power of the sun in your hands...
Is that a cemetery in your yard?
Man I really want this flashlight but I won't be able to drink for several months to be able to afford this.
I got Olights and I think they're great. But I'm cutting way back on companies that source their manufacturing in China. China has enough support from that potato in the White House.
The greed associated with made in USA is worse
@@jt2475 I'm sure your message will help rescue this Nation from the grip of Chinese Communism.
@@exothermal.sprocket truth hurts huh
I have olites , they are very good.... I totally understand about the China crap..... pisses me off... China virus, need I say more...🤬
@@emmettespearsjr.4294 you gu gu guessed wrong
If it had a mode where you could use both the throw and the flood modes at the same time....AND...if they changed the shape of th hotspot to to a circle...they'd have something. I think they "shot themseles in the foot" making the hotspot a square.....I think the Maurauder lights are a gimic.
Need a throw lgiht? Get their Warrior X or Javalot lights....best hotspot/spill beam profile on the market IMHO. 2 defined circles. What you'd want in a "tractical" or search situation...not a floody beam....
So is this light trash after you wear out the batteries ???
I thought the spotlight function was 850 lumens and only the floodlights was 14.000 lumens
Gun mount option?
If not then why not?
Yes... on 75mm recoilless rifles on up! :-D
"I had it, I don't have it now" sounds like my paydays haha
How do u get rid of raccoons. They are trying to destroy my roof thanks and please help
Mix water, dish soap and cayenne pepper together and spray where you dont want em go. It should do the trick
Awesome light. I guessed it was $500.00 lol
4:29 500 mA or 5000 mA ???
What better, this or the MS03?
ms03 is garbage. anyway, that's just a cheap floodlight that gets hot instantly.
Can you imagine the Marauder 2 as a non-lethal self defense devise. I asked for one for fathers day. It will be here Monday. Folks if you stopped buying China products tomorrow... you would have very little... I can overlook the made in China, for the security and life saving capabilities this light would provide in an emergency. Rioters and Looters beware the Olight.
I have had luck with the Streamlight Survivor. High, med, strobe, moon mode. Simple and one third the price of this thing. It will stay lit for over 30 days in moon mode. Not as ninja tacticool but it is THE light used by fire fighters.
That light will make you very visible to the bad guys
...after they regain their eyesight! ;-)

Wow! 300 bones is pricey. Can't have it all. Tax day is coming...then death
For a product made in China...
@@alanbailey1696 I was about to ask if it was Chinese.
Everyone complains about the price but wants it made in the US. $300 is too much but lets make it in the US and charge $1200 for it because it has a little flag on the box 🤦♂️
Olight has sales all the time, just have to know when. I got the orange one for $220, still expensive but I made 6k in the market from my stimulus check so I had cash to lose..
Nice
Oh my $330
Pvc for survival situations let's check it out
It amazes me how our citizens hawk overseas items.
You have not purchased any overseas sourced items?
@@PARANORMALaj
I have. But I've also made a conscious decision to place a higher value on the item's country of origin than I have previously.
Great light...picked up an orange one during the sale!
PRICE?
300 for a Chinese light
4:26 milliamp-hour
After watching this I have decided to make a purchase. Was getting low on Buds
Another $40aud for the power adapter😮
Are those 4 black Jeeps, what a used car lot, or just a family that thinks the same?
Budweiser!!! The beer of kings (and RUclips preppers)!
must get very hot!
For $329 not worth it, My Imalent R30C cost less than half the price and half the size at 560m of throw and 9000 lumens
Yeah, if youre looking at the price to performance this isn't the best. The reason why one would buy that should be the power bank functionality, the combination of 2 different beams in one and the unique switch design, not the actual performance of the light. If you just want to have lots of light in a small package, this is not worth it
Imalent r60c is an even better example imo. 18k lumens, 1000m beam distance, less than half the price, plus it's a bit more compact.
imalent is cheap build quality and faster stepdown as well as weaker batteries.
@@THEHOAXOFBLACKVICTIMIZATIONTHC I wouldn't call it cheap, I have used mine as a hammer and it still works just fine. On top of that, I've tried to put a molicell battery which is supposed to be top of the line in my flashlight and it wouldn't let me turn turbo on, so I couldn't say that Imalent batteries are cheap either
Olight is a cheap company from the east side of the globe that sells eastern crap. Find an American made product. There are many.
And three times the price
Name a company that produces a light with all of these features....go ahead...I'll wait...
@@PARANORMALaj olight it’s right in the video, how did you miss that?
I looked it up and almost every viable flashlight manufacturer is chinese or has its factories there.
Immalent, fenix ,olight, Nitecore, Thrunite and many others are Chinese companies.
There are only two companies of which i know that they are not Chinese that make good flashlights.
LED Lenser which is a German company and Surefire which is American.
@@PARANORMALaj LOL
👍👍💯💯
Be of good courage, long live the republic, and buy the China made product I am pushing
Man if it’s good it’s good it’s not coming straight from shinzeng where all of the child labor camps come from. This was actually made by people who wanted to make these believe it or not.
Sootch no one has entertainment centers anymore. Try to join this century.
I wonder, how the manifacturers tested the distance :D
Did somebody walk 800 meters of distance from the flashlight and said "Yep, I can see it" or what? :D
Lol ikr
I like olight flashlights, but I really dislike how they are manufactured in China.
I wish this flashlight had the same charging technology like their smaller flashlights with the magnetic charger rather than plugging in a cable.
It would take a very long time to charge, I think the magnetic charge ability is 1.5a max charging.
@@thalegacy6 MCC3 is capable of 2A, which on 12V is 24W, just 6W shy of the USB C cable currently used. The Marauder 2 takes 2.5 hours to fully charge. So it was take another 30-45 minutes with the MCC3.

must be a great kick back from china made Olights.
The throw (spotlight) is terrible. The square picture frame reminds me of other cheap Chinese flashlights sold on Amazon.
That’s because it is one.
A square has more area then a circle so in theory its beam would cover more. Didn't say it looks nice, just looking for the positive in it lol. I own one...it's pretty cool despite the square beam.
Probably the shape of the diode, projected through the lens.
@@exothermal.sprocket thank you!
the throw is far from terrible, you don't have one do you
