It recently got announced on twitter that its composer was in a relationship with a minor, they didn't want to change the song since yes they recognized that it was really good, but for personal views and to be safe (can't blame them with how twitter has been) they no longer wanted to affiliate with them.

The creator of Funky Friday named it Bara no Yume because that was what the new song was called. Dreams of Roses is very gone now, even if Bara no Yume translates into Dreams of Roses.

It really doesn't match the difficulty of that chart, though. While it does have a few 16th bursts with crossovers, the arrow density, BPM & the usage of special arrows just aren't up to par in terms of difficulty. I can't say much about the other mods that tried to be as hard as possible, but when it comes to well-done charts, Expurgation seems to be a definite step up in difficulty.

I'm willing to separate a creator from their creation. I can hate who makes the thing, but I can't hate the thing itself. Dreams of Roses was still a great mashup and no allegations against the creator is gonna change my musical tastes. Though, personally, I'm just happy Your Demise is safe. That song is such a bop. I used to be in the FNF fandom back when it was popular and after watching the erect mod roses i came back for dream of roses. Hearing about the stuff that happened with the composer is really aggravating bc everytime I stop fixating on something it ends up getting ruined... smh

I won't lie I do like original Dreams of Roses because it sounded more like a mid section song, if you don't know what I'm talking the song Bara no Yume currently gives the vibe of heavy boss fight that'd fit more in MY opinion last song, it just sounds heavy and too hard. Dreams of Roses sounded more light but disturbing and like it's midfight song to transformation. I honestly don't like how Senpai cuts into Monika's singing even though that's what they should do it's just the fact that it creates more tension between two than bf and the duo, Idk I like the song I won't say I don't but I just wish it wasn't used in the 2nd track that's supposed to be light headed and build tension up to last song, just like how Roses transitions to Thorns and Thorns wouldn't fit the atmosphere of Roses nor would it be an awesome 2nd track. The whole situation unfolded on Twitter, and having seen the evidence, frankly I don't blame them at all for wanting to distance themselves from the other dev. I prefer this version of the second song just for the fact that I couldn't enjoy the original Dreams of Roses without some level of guilt anymore.

Also the grooming happened 2 years ago and the groomer claimed that she felt an utter horse crap and also suffers from PTSD and will probably commit suside in the near future because of how the situation was dealt with (can't spell it sensitive topic but you get it). Honestly groomer felt bad but she should've just apologised and left to live her own life. That's what every normal person does. Same as the victim I understand she got traumatised but she should've blocked her and just went on I understand how hard it was to deal with it but if you look to find her on Internet that's a large space then that means she didn't move on and imagine what are the chances of the victim finding the groomer I honestly think the victim should've told this to someone smarter than Celshader and had this talked with Police or her parents or someone else instead of a twitter person but whatever ig I'm not here to judge.

I won't lie I do like original Dreams of Roses because it sounded more like a mid section song, if you don't know what I'm talking the song Bara no Yume currently gives the vibe of heavy boss fight that'd fit more in MY opinion last song, it just sounds heavy and too hard. Dreams of Roses sounded more light but disturbing and like it's midfight song to transformation. I honestly don't like how Senpai cuts into Monika's singing even though that's what they should do it's just the fact that it creates more tension between two than bf and the duo, Idk I like the song I won't say I don't but I just wish it wasn't used in the 2nd track that's supposed to be light headed and build tension up to last song, just like how Roses transitions to Thorns and Thorns wouldn't fit the atmosphere of Roses nor would it be an awesome 2nd track. I just think the order of this song is misplaced and should be switched with another song cuz as of now it just sounds harder and more powerful than Your Demise.
