I don't understand, why do they put actresses and actors as protagonists with such a big age difference? 10 years, it is terribly noticeable that the actress is much older than him, and the same when it comes to men with more than 10 years of difference with the main actress. They even avoid kisses on the mouth, a bit of romance is obviously lost, I don't know if they do it for that reason but I think so. I see it a lot, another very good example is Shen Yue in "Count Your Lucky Stars" where he is more than 10 years older than her. Here in "The Double" he is incredible but there is zero romance where they bring the camera closer to Wang Xingyue you can see that he is a child compared to the main actress.
