Killin is a village at the falls of Dochart, a spectacular series of rapids running from Loch Tay

Two rivers meet at this point, the river Lochay and river Dochart at the western end of Loch Tay, it’s an excellent base for walks in the area with the mountains of Breadalbane and Loch Tay close by.
Now as for Ness she had food poisoning and was quite poorly overnight, not the fault of the hotel I might add but from a restaurant we ate at, but she was not going to let it spoil the day although she did not feel like chatting much as she was still recovering.
As for our circle around the mountain road that was not how it was supposed to turn out, we took the wrong turn but we though oh well it was a nice bit of scenery so we would upload it anyway.

The Falls of Dochart are stunning.
We went in late October one year and we couldn't even get down on the rocks so much water.
Oh no poor Ness, hope she felt better later on

Good morning, it was so strange driving into the village and realising we had been there quite a few years previous, when i was into my photography and took loads of photo's there, but it was great to be able to go down on the rocks and get close up to the rapids.
Ness had oysters at a restaurant the previous evening and obviously it was those that caused the problem, she was rough all day poor Ness.
Enjoy your weekend, we may have a day in Wales tomorrow if the rain is not too bad! 😊❤ Andy
