@Salvador Marley i really appreciate your reply. I got to the site on google and Im in the hacking process now. Seems to take a while so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Must have been in winter, I think. I did Sorrrento-Amalfi-Sorrento by bus one October and it was almost continuous lines of traffic in both directions. It was very slow moving both ways, but plenty of time to enjoy the scenery.
My wife and I just watched this and another one and just want to say these are awesome and thank you. We have a dream of moving/retiring to Italy, but more the Tuscany or lake district (mainly because this country has gone to crap, and Italy seems to have a much stronger sense of community, but also because of the food, history, culture, scenic views...etc). I will say driving there looks insane...though some friends on Facebook that live there said you just get use to it. You folks must have a lot of patience. Our son watched some of it (he's 24) and said oh heck no. Again, thank you and looking forward to watching more.
Well, in fact, i'm russian...but driving in Russia is even more challenging. So Italian roads weren't so hard)) But I was lucky to drive this road during the low season with little to no traffic.
@@TonyWalks4K that's the low season? Wow. I've driven in London and other UK cities but nothing like that. NYC is nuts, especially in a full sized pickup truck. We live in Kansas near Kansas City now, so nothing like that. Still, the scenery is amazing. Thank you for making these videos, they are really awesome.
@@TonyWalks4K Sounds like you get around. NYC wasn't that bad surprisingly. San Francisco/Oakland is pretty nuts. St Louis, when we drive east, we try to be through it before rush hour (before 6am) because rush hour is absolutely nuts there. Think Nottingham (england) was ok, but Cambridge was a little unnerving.
@@TonyWalks4K I have also been driving on Bali, can confirm, it's a nightmare... (Fact: There are 4,5 million registered mopeds on Bali alone) Kudos for this video, I've been to the italian countryside just north of Rome, but never in this region. Alas, I'd love to go someday! Greetings from Sweden
We took this trip about five years ago. Took the bus from Naples to Amalfi, then took a boat to Salerno. Our bus driver was very competent! Can't say the same for the hundreds of crazy motor bikes that passed our bus on outside curves! It was amazing that we saw no accidents!
I've been in Europe for 3 months in total by now. And I have never seen a single road accident!😱 Ah...wait, no...I've seen one in Toscana. Anyway that's incerdible. Here in Russia I see a dozen every day!😅
I have not been in many years due family health. What a wonderful car journey. You brought it all back to me. Just adorable. Fantastico. Thank you from Scotland👍👍👍🌺🌺🌺
Counted 34 Fiats as you reached the turn for Amalfi: Older residential neighbourhoods; 90' Fiat 600 and 500 and a few Ritmos. Working areas: Pandas and Ducatos. Fancy cafe streets; the new Fiat 500! Actually I suspect that the Smart for two is the prefeerd small car now? I didn't count them too, but there are more of them than the 600 and Pandas in total?
2:10 why are the traffic lights flashing yellow? In the UK that is only used at pedestrian crossings where you need to still give way to pedestrians crossing but can go when clear. This just seems like chaos?
Normally, you find flashing yellow during night. In this case, probably some malfunction. It works as if there was no light, you have to comply normal intersection rules. And slow down to the speed limit, just in case.
In UK there are very economic problem s .all to london, but rest of UK is miserable, lost industry s, now is only a small isla and a fiscal paradise, all the mafia s clear sold s of cocaine, corruption,in England because the law s they are inesistent on ricycl

Not gonna lie, the roads looks extremely narrow! Not to mention the lack of traffic laws being adhered too, with pedestrians just walking in front of all vehicles! It’s absolutely beautiful, however, I got nervous just watching this. I’ve always wanted to road trip across Italy. Yet, if all roads and cities are like this, it’s a hard pass! Thanks for the video!
The navigation map screenshot at the very beginning of this video suggests average speed on this trip is 30.25 km/hour. That's less than 19 mi/hour. Just try driving at 19 mph for 5 minutes. At this speed, does anyone really worry about safety? 🤣 ... I understand this is an average speed, but still... Cameras tend to portray speed differently vs real life human observation, because lenses don't have the same focal length as human eyes, not to mention peripheral vision. What I am trying to say is - this video may fool you into thinking this is a fast moving car, when in reality it isn't.

hi, very few residential neighborhoods like in the US with gates and facilities included like pool ang gardening, we call them "casa in residences", but if u don't want to live in a building u can buy a country house or a villa in a small town. Prices are cheaper than in the US, expecially in the coutryside.
When you came into Amalfi clock forty nine and fifty one second ,you had two options , i saw you took the left like you going to the beach and turn back right like you driving back to Salerno ,than you took left back again to Sorrento , is this the way? , or you could took the right lane in the same point, and come to the same point that take you to Sorrento after few minutes ?
@@TonyWalks4K Thank you! We are considering breaking up our nine weeks in south Spain. We escape the Canadian winter so it would be February and March. Excellent!

Your drives are great. The only thing that bugs me is that you speed up to the car in front and then ride his tail. and now we have to look at the back of someone's car.
