Intro was just a bunch of grown men screaming, then a couple seconds later i had to listen to a blowdryer from the c-101

I liked the part where the plane flew through the gap of the crane.
Basically, it is just flying low for a few seconds. Seems like, People get distracted and "fear" the Dock Cranes
and then panic into failure...
But a few Pilots did it really good.

5:20 How you can deal with it is lower speed, with flaps. Usually (Most AC) flaps result in lower-alpha profile at slower speeds. And slow speeds make it easier for you to react.

They had two models of A10 available, but no one wanted to try it. The Tomcat barely fit, and the A-10 is only a little smaller than that.

What about landing under cranes?
So .. unless they're not in the game... I'd think something like a MiG-23 or Su-22 with their slimmer frames and shorter vertical stabilizers would have offered a lot more room to work with.
Full disclosure I have never played the game, so I don't know the full selection of planes.

Well as I always do, when I get a new jet or plane, if it fits, I fly through only the Center that has has 39 sets of Claws hanging down. You have about 8-10 feet of space>>>>> Now in 2.8.0.33006
You can just fly through the steel like butter. At first I thought it was because of trying out new free mods like the OV10 and A4C and A29-B, but when it happened in the P51 and F16
Someone changed the hit boxes and I hope they fix them before too long.

No point to do this kind of competitions because those hitboxes so inaccurate
bottom was bad, but center and top You have from 260-270 feet to squeeze through center of crane.

Just fly an A-10 through and try to not take down the cranes.
The F-14 is actually slightly taller than the A-10, and has a wider wingspan. There's a good chance that if one of them is good enough with the A-10, they could make it through just fine.
1st one is fun, 2nd one is terrifying, 3rd is decision time, because going under for the third gives the APCs a beeline on you

Make sure your key bindings are right, rudder and other can get bound a bit odd by dcs by default I have found... 😁
@@lordchive8944 I'm using an X-56 Rhino with a twist yaw, and it seems to be working alright. lol. I haven't tried the other free plane that came with the game yet. For all I know the Frogfoot is just a temperamental aircraft that doesn't like doing anything but flying in a straight line.
I did notice that extending the flaps helps regain stability, but when the bird departs there's usually no saving it unless I completely let go of the stick, and even then it's a 50/50 chance of me not stopping suddenly at zero altitude.

I actually expected a Harrier to vertically land in front of each obstacle and then roll through. I did not hear anyone say you had to *Fly* through the obstacles!

Why wasnt anyone using rudder instead of controls when after banking to straight
Rudders primary use is yaw (obviously) however it has a secondary effect on the roll axis, either way you'd have to end up using ailerons.
Ok. Thank you for correcting me on rudder and yaw. Yes i know rudder is for boats not planes. Ohh ok then. I just played it and it was easy to use yaw without banking turns before the entry on 2nd and 3rd set of cranes..
Blow dryer that's a good one, what about, I don't know if u all ready done this or not, pick teams of 2, or 4, or whatever but actually use a wing man and show how it's done Cap if u are the wing man u do have to cover him not saying u don't but yeah I think it would be good but great vid thanks for all ur time to make the vid and have some fun
