I binge watched all 25 episodes - now I am buying a sailboat. Dammit Man! What have you done to me!? You seriously inspire me to do something more with myself. That pilot whale episode made me tear up....
Really? Well, glad I helped you getting on the water. Fair winds mate!
Absolutely true! I complete my survey on Friday!!! :) I can't believe it. I'll be following the videos of you as long as you keep posting! ANN ALE! Words to live by.
Yay! My favourite Frenchman is back! Enjoyed the episode. Hope you're having a good time in The Med!
Owen Potter the Med...? This footage is from Canary Islands, in the Atlantic...
Great video! Can’t wait for the Atlantic crossing ones!
Love following your adventures. Great viewing and your ‘can do’ attitude to everything. Look forward to more.
Love your videos!! Single handed sailing at it's best on a small vessel

I never thought I'd say this about a Frenchman...You seem such a good sailor and happy to,,boot...although a bit untidy....but great video s
thanks for sharing your travels...
Thanks for the map location.
The way to travel, whether on boat or not is the way you're doing it. Talk to the locals, make friends and have a good time.
Great Episode!!
Great vídeo 👏
I really like your EPs very much and enjoyed every of it! Who knows, maybe we meet some day with my little good old Varianta 65 which is a small but nice boat! (it is NOT 65 feet long:=)))
It's a small world, we'll probably meet, fair winds :)
Interesting to hear a solo pov.
Greetings from a Scots ex Catamaran deckhand/deputy skipper. I'm really enjoying your video series, so interesting and informative. I have a question for you.. how much does it cost on average for I night or day moorage? Is it charged at an hourly or a daily rate?
Bon Voyage and Slainte Mhath!
Thank a lot!
Harbour fees vary a lot. For my boat (26ft) it is around 15 to 20 euros per night in the Med, and around 5 to 10 euros in the Atlantic. But this is average, it really depends on the marina you go.
Then there is anchoring, anchoring is free in 95% of the cases
A mackerel?
Ooo belles vues
Great video :)
The Sailing Frenchman Merci pour ton retour bon vent 😉
Bonjour, Comme toujours video sympa !
Mixfill pardon
Thabk you for great videos! Which boat do you own? Shipyard? Model name?
It's an Ecume de Mer, from Mallard shipyard. Have a look at episode #24 where I do a tour of the boat : ruclips.net/video/nk8K1GF2fB0/видео.html
Do you know witch ship is it in la palma? I think is zenith.. I worked in this ship from 2 seasons in South America!! All the best from Brazil!!
No I don't remember, sorry. Nice boat tho :)
I am sure you have fixed the issue.... at 4:20 in your video your jib sheet is inside your lifeline and will chafe and damage your stanchions. fair winds ..
Good eye :)
Yeah, depending on how long I stay on a tack, at which point of sail and the wind pressure, I have the sheet in or out. It's a bit of admin but no other choice
very sad they began to extract oil in the canaries, and let a big cotnminated mess....
the greed of corrupt politicians
la palma - isla verde - my favorite of all islas ;D
ye-ha? good one cowboy
how borrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrring a sailing channel can be,,,,
