I would pass on the workout stuff and just focus on walking a ton, taking stairs where possible, do a few pushups in the hotel and enjoy your trip! Can’t wait for the vlogs!
packing is actually one of my favorite parts of travelling! i think i just love the planning and the organizing aspect of it. i'm generally pretty minimal so i guess that helps with not worrying about the weight and not squeezing stuff in. i think picking out everything also makes me imagine the trip and kinda daydream about it
Hey Michele, tips for Copenhagen are lunch at Aamans and renting bicycles through your hotel, you'll enjoy the city so much more. I wish you a lovely time!
As someone who worked for a veterinarian for many years. One thing I learned is dogs don’t really have a sense of time. Weather you are gone for an hour or 3 weeks they are equally happy to see you when you come home. Enjoy your trip and done worry about Ms. Butters.
Having traveled for many years for work I’m pretty good at not overpacking. I don’t pack “options”as that’s where you can run into trouble. I’ve learned to just wear what I pack lol. Have fun on vacation Michele! Safe travels! I’ll be leaving in about two months for Japan and can’t wait! Wheeee!
Bookmarking this. One of my husband's bucket list items is seeing the northern lights. I want to check off that one within the next three years sometime. I've lived a majority of my life in sub-tropical climes so I'm clueless when it comes to cold weather prep!
We do have all the beauty necessities in Europe so don't pack too heavy. You always can go to a beauty shop in Paris and buy anything you forgot! Enjoy your trip, can't wait to hear about Finland!
I never realized how much I enjoy watching “pack with me” vlogs until I saw your’s, Michele!! So fun-esp since I’m not the one making the decisions 😂. This trip you took is like my dream trip. I cannot wait to watch more vlogs of it! I was missing Butters in this video so I’m glad you talked about her toward the end 🐶😊❤
Make sure you’re allowed 2 check-in bags each for the European flights, too. Often times this is something for the intercontinental, long haul flights only - happened to me before 🙂
The gym / work out struggle is REAL!! I always feel the same way when I travel. Thank you for making me feel like I'm not the only one who feels this way!!
Wow…that was an epic pack! I hate packing and the worst part are shoes and toiletries. I inevitably either pack too much makeup or not enough. I do, however, love unpacking. I do it immediately when I get home, no matter what time it is. I can’t wait to unpack all of my treasures from my trip.
My stepdaughter married a Norwegian, so now we travel 2x/yr to Norway (in the Arctic Circle!). Then to somewhere else in Europe, often a couple places, including somewhere warm. It’s not my ideal way to travel, but in the end I always enjoy it. Despite the temp changes, we pack no more than a carry on and a personal item each, for two+ weeks. I wear my bulkiest things on the plane - boots, coat, cashmere scarf, etc. I bring way too much makeup - and then I add more at duty free. 😂 Enjoy your trip, Michele! You will love it. ❤
Welcome to Finland! I’m sure you’ll have a wonderful time up in the north! ❄️ And Paris + Copenhagen, too. Can’t wait to see your videos from the whole trip.
Yes, I am also crazy, but I also lóve éverything about packing/travelling! Including cubes, the vision what to take etc. Word of advice: always wear the most bulky items (boots, puffer, scarf etc) on the flight! Have a gréát time!! ❤
Michelle you literally crack me up. You are so kind as well. I ❤ high end everything however, in no way in this lifetime can I go all out like you. This stay at home mom will live thru you. Lol!! I’ve always enjoyed watching your videos. Not pretentious at all. ❤ Have a wonderful trip!!
That trip is on our list -- seem to have been to all the usual places but never to Finland and I want to try it, see the northern lights, live in the ice hotel, etc. Have such a terrific time and film, if it doesn't interrupt the magic. Bon voyage -- god tur - hyvää matkaa!!!
A very sweet and delicious Bistro in Paris is, Le Bon George. The owner is a delightful man. You need a rez. Walk up Rue de Martyrs (very near the restaurant) and follow it all the way up to Montmartre. OR, go straight to Montmartre and eat the most delicious roast chicken at Le coq et Fil (open for lunch and dinner). Those back streets of Montmartre are off the beaten track from the tourist crowd that march straight up to Sacre Coeur. Rue Des Abbesses has some very cute shops and one of Andrea Ali’s fav beauty supply stores is there.
Hi Michele! Bon Voyage! You're packing was amazing. I love how you put everything in plastic. Cannot wait to follow along and so excited for your trip! xo
I’m 57 now and have finally resorted to the fact that I’m not working out on my trips! It’s so freeing to not keep looking at the pile and feel guilty!!
I love going for a run when visiting new places. If I run early in the morning it also helps me adjust faster to the time difference. It’s a win/win for me!
Paris and Copenhagen are definitely not flats kind of places this time of year. But perhaps as indoor shoes they are fine. This trip is very exciting. Have a wonderful time!
I’m with you I held. I’m not a fan of the physical packing either. I’m going to Scandanavia in May and am already dreading the process. I’m going to try some of your tricks here (i.e., the space saver bags/pump and the Cadence containers). Wish us both luck. enjoy your great trip!
I love packing! I'll take that over UNpacking. Haha i love organizing inside the suitcase. I just don't enjoy when I come back home now with more stuff I left home with and needing to find a new place for everything haha
For long term or bulky winter travel highly recommend vaccum seal bags, at ABNBs and hotels you usually can ask for access to a vaccum to reseal.❤ Double check on the number of bags you can check on European airlines as well as the weight metric vs imperial
I live to travel. I enjoy packing, I envision what I’ll need and why and it helps me get excited for the trip. I’ll put up with the airport and the plane. I unpack at the hotel. I also unpack as soon as I get home. Usually the same day. And im not a type A sort of person.
OMG! That beanie looks so cute on you! Remember, take your La Mer and maybe Irene Forte's pistachio masque and Sisley black rose oil (plus lip salves) x
Have a safe trip! I have a love/hate relationship with packing. I can wear the same thing for days at home but not when I travel? Can’t wait to see how your trip goes.
If you travel to Europe often it might be worth investing into a small hairdryer and straightener since the voltage change can give issues with some devices.
I'm sure you are having a wonderful time. I hope all of your luggage made it to each destination! That's always my biggest worry. You described me and traveling anywhere to a "T" ! Give me a Time Machine that will take me to my destination in 3 seconds! As far as packing, I put luggage in the guest bedroom and start packing 1-2 weeks ahead. We had a Westie we'd find sitting in the middle of the open luggage! She wanted to go too 😞
I would pass on the workout stuff and just focus on walking a ton, taking stairs where possible, do a few pushups in the hotel and enjoy your trip! Can’t wait for the vlogs!
Don’t forget to bring an adapter/converter for your styling tools!
Don't take the hairdryer! Even with the converter there's a strong possibility it'll just blow up. (Speaking from experience here...)
Had the same experience 😆and I also don't think her hairdryer will work.@@danafillo

Hi, Europa nadal chłodna i deszczowa. Ekscytującej wycieczki. Pozdrowienia
@ewaalicjas9415 You can buy cheap plastic ponchos, they work well.
Safe travels! ✈️ Enjoy every moment! Can’t wait to see footage ❤
Hi there fellow Dane here 😊🇩🇰🇩🇰
In Alaska we call this arctic gear. Boots, snow pants, heavy coast and socks are packeted in duffel bags.
Wellcome to here Finland! Can’t wait your vlog from here! ❤❄️
Have an amazing trip! May all your travels around Europe be filled with fun and wonderful memories.
As someone who worked for a veterinarian for many years. One thing I learned is dogs don’t really have a sense of time. Weather you are gone for an hour or 3 weeks they are equally happy to see you when you come home. Enjoy your trip and done worry about Ms. Butters.
“It’s like corpse size” lol 😆
So funny

I love packing. It's so satisfying to fit so much into just a carry-on and backpack.
Bookmarking this. One of my husband's bucket list items is seeing the northern lights. I want to check off that one within the next three years sometime. I've lived a majority of my life in sub-tropical climes so I'm clueless when it comes to cold weather prep!
Enjoy your trip looking forward to the vlogs!

I don't mind packing but I also start at least a week before the trip. Packing cubes are so very helpful for organizing my things.
Make sure you’re allowed 2 check-in bags each for the European flights, too. Often times this is something for the intercontinental, long haul flights only - happened to me before 🙂
Those Cuyana bags have been a travel staple for me for the past 5 years! Amazing quality!! Great in carryon luggage.
The gym / work out struggle is REAL!! I always feel the same way when I travel. Thank you for making me feel like I'm not the only one who feels this way!!

Bon voyage!!! Keep toasty warm and....we're excited for you! (And excited to see the vlogs!). :)
I usually overpack what I think are absolute necessities….and never use any of it!😂😂😂
Have a wonderful time!💛
Michelle you literally crack me up. You are so kind as well. I ❤ high end everything
however,
in no way in this lifetime can I go all out like you.
This stay at home mom will live thru you. Lol!!
I’ve always enjoyed watching your videos.
Not pretentious at all.
❤
Have a wonderful trip!!

Welcome to Finland! I live in Kurikka close to Seinäjoki and Vaasa, in Ostrobothnia.
I love the organizing of outfits. I’ve gone to Paris for 2 weeks with only a carryon and it worked well.
Have a safe trip Michele! Enjoy! Xx
I use compression bags. Bag tracker is important too. I use across body bag that is anti theft safe
What a great trip! Have fun!
Have a fabulous time, Michele!
So exciting as a follower from Finland 😍😍
Wish you great moments in Paris, Copenhagen and Finland. Enjoy every moment. Was never in Finland… waiting your vlogs to see what i miss!

Love seeing the Signature glow Palette x
Enjoy !!!!! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Wishing you a fabulous trip❤️. Enjoy every moment😍
Bon voyage, Michele ❤
I’ve found the La Mer face cream the best for recovery from the cold air. Worked the best for me in -25 C winters here in Canada!
Enjoy it ❤
Have a safe trip! And ENJOY!! ☮️💟🙏🏻
OMG! That beanie looks so cute on you! Remember, take your La Mer and maybe Irene Forte's pistachio masque and Sisley black rose oil (plus lip salves) x
Have a safe trip, Michelle and family!😊❤
Have a wonderful trip!
Have a great trip!!!! ❤
My tips for packing is that I think of a outfit for traveling. I wear it to the place. I’m going and back home when I’m traveling home.
You packed it all…yay. Have a most wonderful time
Have a safe trip! I have a love/hate relationship with packing. I can wear the same thing for days at home but not when I travel? Can’t wait to see how your trip goes.
Welcome to Finland! 🇫🇮
!!!! Holy cow !!!! “We leave tomorrow” I panicked for you.
Hope you have a wonderful adventure.
Love your Paris wardrobe, neutrals that match with everything ❤❤
If you travel to Europe often it might be worth investing into a small hairdryer and straightener since the voltage change can give issues with some devices.
Welcome to Finland! I hope you enjoy your time here 😊 and it’s a good thing you got warm clothes and shoes because it’s very cold here 😅
