I had a teacher like that when I was in 1st grade. If I had to read in front of the class and I stumbled over a word, she would call me stupid. If I circled the correct answer the wrong way, she would mark it wrong. She would keep me in from recess often. Some people shouldn't be allowed anywhere near children.
In at-will employment states, they can't fire you for an illegal reason, but they _can_ fire you for no reason whatsoever. Which means that they _can_ fire you for an illegal reason as long as you can't prove that's what they're doing.
bamboo lights, get a couple of mirrors and make an art installation that so happens to reflect the light back in through his own windows see how long he likes being dazzled by his own lights
The last story: Some customers are such a pain that catering to them just isn't worth it. Time is money, and spending a lot of time trying to please a customer that is dead set on not being pleased is a waste of money.
Knowing myself if I was in that teacher's classroom I would have hundred percent punched her in the face and probably get suspended for it and I wouldn't care in the slightest if it hurt
My friend punched our teacher when we are about 10yrs old. The teacher would actually hit us by grabbing a fistful of the front of our sweaters, and yank/jerk us forward so we'd slam into his fist. And sometimes he'd do it repeatedly as if we were a paddle ball - One day my friend who had a temper and was done with it, swung a punch at the teacher and ran home. Forget if he connected. Needless to say all hell broke loose when his parents found out. They weren't entitled people by any means but they knew that teacher's behavior was totally out of line. I forget exactly what happened but I'm pretty sure he still kept his job. (I must ask my friend if he can remember what exactly happened afterwards - it was almost 40yrs ago) - Odd thing is we all liked except for those times he went too far with that stuff. His class was fun for the most part and he did treat us well for the most part - just lost his temper at times with our bad behavior.
Story 8: I'm honestly not sure why the teacher had a problem with this. Aren't teachers supposed to be rewarded for high success rates? Now, as far as the classes go - sure, it's a terrible situation for the students when they don't learn anything, especially if the material is supposed to matter later, like in a career. But realistically, this God Notes strategy wouldn't have solved anything beyond getting the first letter in Apple on your graduate certificate.
I might have bullied a few teachers into giving the whole class handouts at the start of each lesson. I'm dyslexic and it was a requirement that I be given all PowerPoints in advance. Some gits didn't want to do it saying I just wouldn't come into class, and it wouldn't be fair I'd have access to more material than everyone else. So I got the student union on side, and everyone got the notes as a handout 1min before class started. 🙂
There's a place in Vancouver where bamboo has grown down thirty feet, across sixty feet of highway underpass and up into the yards across the street. Cassiar Street below Hastings for the locals. The bamboo is HUGE, foot thick stocks. Planting bamboo like that is environmentally irresponsible, even as revenge.
Acrually no, bamboo is great for the environment. It absorbs more carbon dioxide and releases 35% more oxygen than trees. It's a really great way to get revenge, even though it is invasive.
@@meowatbabiesthecat one metric doesn't make something good for the environment or not. That's not how any of this works. Bamboo is bad cause it outcompetes native plants, which means that native pollinators that require those plants are negatively affected by the reduction in their food source. Further, since it outcompetes and has nothing adapted to eat it, it will just continue to spread unchecked. Source: I am an actual environmental scientist with many years studying these topics.
OP's mom with her revenge against the teacher is a true hero! M son had a teacher like that in the 2nd grade. She was an unmitigated disaster. My tiny little revenge was two years later when my daughter was in the same first grade classroom as this crappy teacher's grandson...which is why she changed schools a few years ago, anyway. In the first part of the school year, this grandson took a special delight in being just slightly ahead of my daughter in reading points. If kids reached a certain threshold, they'd go to a minor league baseball game with the top readers in the school. After a few week of being second best, my daughter had had enough. She took it upon herself to take fewer recess breaks and read multiple books every day and lots per week. Soon she had smoked that little SOB so badly, that he just gave up. He never got to go to the baseball game, and my daughter was the first first-grader to go. Suck it! And your little grandma,. too!
Surprised with story 3 that the executive director didn't just fire OP. He was the only one that complained, and they complained a lot, and the director stated that he liked listening to the conversations. If the head of the company disagrees with how you want things to run, and you're that vocal about it, you're not going to be at that company for very long. You're certainly not going to be liked by anyone else there either.
Regarding the author story - My mother had something similar where one of her teachers told her she'd never get a job cos she was too lazy, so she left school and went to work on the railways.
In many states, you can sue for the cost of the vehicle if you have fronted more than $750 for a downpayment that is returned so the vehicle can be sold to a different buyer
My third grade teacher didn't like me much. Dunno why, I was the quiet kid who always did their work...Sure I was fidgety (undiagnosed ADHD), but I was generally a good kid.
Thank you for your voice my son likes it so much your videos are the only way we can get him to sleep and I love the stories so happy baby and a happy mum x thank you for being you x
My baby would only sleep with Leon Redbone music playing. I used to sing him "Crazy Blues" as a lullaby. Today he is a 35 year old multi instrumental musician with a great love for old time blues. Funny how these things stay with the child.

For the first story, why not put mirrors on top of the wall to reflect back to their house. When the lights go down, the mirrors go down.

Story 2 Now that's dedication! Respect for mom!
story with the teacher:...why did she need a new school? op never mentioned she got fired. so why was she going to try and go to other schools?
the scum bag of a teacher was probably trying to find a better paying school, or she got caught by a different parent and fired
little hard to work at a school that was perma closed down

You can also make so many things from bamboo, and it's 100% biodegradable.

True, but it needs to stay where it is native
Story one reminds of when I used to play on this Minecraft server with some old friends of mine and they bamboo bombed my Base
