Great video.. My dad was at Fitzsimons from 1946 to 1948 as some type of medic. Tons of old pictures. He loved it there and told us many stories. Thanks for sharing.
I was there in the early 70s. The wooden phone booths in the barracks were there when I got there. Latrines hadn't changed much. Lots of things I recognized, but a lot of things had changed too. It was a nice walk down memory lane.
Great video! Lots of great memories I was an AN and worked on 7E-W from 1993 to 1996. Was part of the closure crew, hated to close and leave. Great place to be stationed and work, many great coworkers and patients! Fitzsimmons Nurses were truly Proud to Care!
i was one of a husband wife team both in 91C30 school at Fitz in 78-79! thank you for the video. we did live off post, thankfully. Fitz has a place in my heart too as do those folks in my class. hello to any who may read this!
Iwas in BMET school in class5-92. Fitz has a special place in myheart as well. Would love to hear from anyone there at that time. Thanks for the awesome video!!!
Grew up there as a teen in the mid 70s, I had many friends that lived there and worked in the commissary we hung out at the disco teen club and the Pub every weekend there on Colfax ave Great memories Thanks for posting!
I attended the 91C Course at FAMC 1973-1974. My son was born there and I did his first bath coming out of the delivery room. Good memories but also feel sad I have lost contact with my classmates.
Amazing! I am on the faculty of the medical school here now and this is a completely different era! Campus looks so different now, especially the toilets!
I was born here in 1962 I have always wanted to visit Denver and the Hospital sadly it was torn down in 1999. My dad was in the Air-force I believer we moved after about a year or two.
My dad was there in the mid-70's and as a wee one, I would have to see the doctors there. Some of my favorite visits were with the medical doctors there. Not. It's interesting that it's as I remember, considering how little I was.
Yes, I remember Harlan headed off to Detrick straight out of school. Do you know where he went after that? I have tried to Google him using his home of record but couldn't find him. Would love to get in touch. He was a solid guy.

Thantks for the memories. I was a nurse stationed at Fitz from October 1989 until September 1996. I still visit the campus whenever I'm in Aurora.

Thanks for the vid, my best memories were there. My M.O.S. was 42E, Optical Lab Spec, 1983, what an honor to have been there.
Lived on Fitz from 82-87 but my dad was stationed there most of his career until he retired in 92. Thanks for the memories.

I was the NCOIC at USAMRIID when Josh Harlan was there in '96. He was a good soldier with lots of promise as a BMET. Hope he's doing well now.
Glad you liked it! Fitz has a special place in my heart, and I wanted to do it justice.

Thanks for the Vid. SPent a little while there as a BMET student class 4-91G. I have some great memories from that time. The vid took me back to them.

My mom died here in January 1968, of chronic myelogenous leukemia. She was only 42. This type of leukemia can now be managed.
I have birth to my daughter here in 1993 and grew up on this base🥹🥹
