This might be my most favorite Rammstein song! It's really groovy and I like the keyboard riffs, so I played them on guitar! If Rammstein is iconic for it's their brutal riffs. This is just Drop D and it sounds so heavy! I hope I did Richard and Paul justice with this one. Did you hear the small Metallica easter egg I dropped here? ;)
I also played a small self written solo on the outro!
I used a live version of the original song and applied an EQ so that my guitars are clearly hearable!

Lach. Ein tolles Lied das zeigt dass Rammstein auch ohne Verzerrer klasse klingt. Vor allem wenn die Gitarristin ihr Instrument gut im Griff hat.

Sieht relativ leicht zu spielen aus... Schon eine Gigantennummer, was da Rammstein abgeliefert haben. Der Text ist ja der absolute Hammer.
3:48: Wo bei der Einleitung von Slayers "Raining blood" geht es da zu. Coole Nummer wieder. Danke fürs Teilen. Hatte das Glück, im Februar in Kempten noch die Rammsteincover Band "Stahlzeit" zu sehen. Das war kurz vor die ganze Corona Scheiße los ging. Vielleicht war es mein letztes live Konzert in der alt gewohnten Form...

rammstein was the reason i liked learning german in school:)) funny enough, it has been long time since school, but only at age 25 i realised i started to understand every line in their intended meaning, and i was not happy about it:D you know rammstein lyrics...

Not one I was familiar with before but a really fun song! It's a cool change of pace from what I normally associate with Rammstein, but it's still got an excellent groove to it. Loved the solo and the epic whammy bar ending haha and the lovely crunchy tone. That Schecter sounds really nice clean too. Awesome all round. \m/
The Schecter is also a beautiful guitar :) significantly different to my AZ though 🤪

An interesting choice and I must admit that Rammstein songs contain a huge number of references to literature and culture, often with sinister notes. =) A composition with a rather deep meaning, my thought about it, ...it is not always true what you see, the most important unity, understanding. Of course, many can immediately talk about technique after listening...but i will give preference to the feeling and soul of sound and then to technique, it's not all about shredding it's about feeling and letting the song breathe along with dynamics. It was a beautiful performance of the cover, which you filled with the most heartfelt enriched musical oxygen, this is a delight not a job. Thank you very much, all the best. =)
That’s true! Rammstein uses a lot of imagery. I like this song a lot. Even when the lyrics seem „dumb“ at first sight for native German speakers, the meaning is really awesome :)
@@JassyPabst You know, I never considered these texts dumb, because it's very close to philosophy, it's an adaptation of Goethe's poem "Der Erlkonig". It tells about the death of a boy attacked by a supernatural being, and it is known for its composition by Franz Schubert. So of course I have a lot of respect for the work of Rammstein. Thank you very much for your answer, I was touched attention. =)
