- Today I review the 1:4 scale "Ciri" statue from Prime 1 Studio, and I have thoughts..

Cirilla of Cintra from The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. Cirilla Fiona Elen Riannon also known as Ciri, is the deuteragonist and lead heroine of The Witcher franchise. She's a princess of Cintra and the daughter of Pavetta and Duny, which was an alias used by Emhyr var Emreis, the emperor of Nilfgaard, as well as the adopted daughter of Geralt of Rivia and Yennefer of Vengerberg. Throughout the game, Ciri is being chased by The Wild Hunt led by Eredin, King of the Wild Hunt who wants to harness the power of of Elder Blood running through Ciri's veins to cause the Conjunction of Spheres to bring the Aen Elle elves into the world of humans.
Also check the sword handle here: 0:48. Looks like it's bend or the bottom part of it fall off. It doesn't look straight

I have several prime one statues, and I completely agree with your comments. The quality of this Witcher series makes me question their quality control, simply put it isn’t even close to the prototype.

I also pre-order the 1/3 geralt as my first prime1 statue. Do you think the 1\3 geralt will be better?
In all honesty. You don't know. I PO'd Yennefer special outfit and her head looked terribly painted and modelled. Not at all like the prototype. I wouldn't preorder from Prime1, it's genuinely a gamble until you see other people unbox and review.
Just found your channel and was interested in the latest Ciri Alternate Statue and this got me a little worried. Faces could make or break statues...and yes that one eye wasn't painted in the correct spot. Not really liking how Dark Horse portrayed her in their cheaper figure by looking at the pictures. Never owned Prime 1 as I stuck mostly with First4Figures.
Yeah, this one specifically was a big miss for P1, but generally speaking, F4F (which I also have a bunch of statues from) aren't even close in terms of quality. Grab a Prime 1 statue sometime when you find one you really like and you'll see. I hate their customer support, but their statues are incredible usually.
Re-watching this since new details about the upcoming alternative outfit for CIri has popped up...kinda afraid to pull the trigger on that given the potential QC issues. Will you be ordering it?
Ya I feel ya. No I won't be ordering her, in fact I'm going to sell my Ciri and Yenn and just get out of the line altogether. They're some of my least fav statues in my collection. I feel like P1 just missed the ball with the entire line.
Funny that you mentioned their customer service, YES it is difficult to get replacement parts, as I learned for myself ;)
Man, it's SO bad.. even when there's clearly a defect. That's just poor support. I can't wait for any other company to get a chance at some of the licenses that only they have. I'm dying to not support these guys anymore. That said.. my last few CS experiences have been much better, so perhaps things are changing there. We'll see.
Those eyes! Yuck, the alt head looks solid, just ordered my first prime 1 (predator cover) and I'm hoping it's like the good pics I'm seeing and not the bad haha
I know.. those eyes are terrible. Honestly, you usually can't go wrong with Prime 1 though. I'm sure you'll be happy!
I love cirilla, but this statue looks like it should have been 300 bucks. The quality just looks really poor.

I agree, this statue is still pretty good but not for this price. You are right, the base also is not the best from them... I like it to see some honest opinion of this. In most reviews always everythin is "amazing" I just preordered my first prime1 statue, the 1/3 Scale Geralt and I have higher expectations...greeting from germany.
Nice and congrats! I have that PO'd too. This line is getting better and better so I have high hopes for that statue. I think it will end up great.
Prime details in their statue is really night and day from 2024 and 2020. The new Yennefer statue is literally an art piece in comparison to this one. You see it in the price to since it cost the double of this one.
Walleyed is the correct term here, lol! They probably had one senior sculptor do Cirilla, and then an amateur (cheaper) sculptor do the base.

Damn man, considering PO'ing my first Prime 1 piece, really concerned hearing your opinion of their customer service (since I know you've got multiple pieces from them)
Yup, I have 19 and counting. Honestly, I hate talking bad about groups but their customer service is absolute dog shit most of the time. They've allowed me to cancel an order to place it with a local distributor so I can save on shipping a few times. That's a nice gesture, but even then it was like pulling teeth to get them to allow that. The straw that broke the camels back was that Anzu statue that CLEARLY has an issue with its magnet and/or fit of the arm, that they're convinced I'm just putting on wrong. It's really, really brutal for a company that "reputable" to be honest. Esp for someone that orders as much as I do. I run a small business and we'd be broke if we treated customers the way they do.
I am really surprised with the quality of P1 lately which is really stopping me from preordering anything till I see the in-hand pics and videos! The base is very dull and will probably benefit from a repaint, but why would you pay more for that! The eyes are wonky tbh and it's not just you! They need to really step up their game otherwise they will lose customers.
1000% Agree. It's so frustrating because I know what they CAN do, but they're just so inconsistent lately. The fact that their support is as mixed a bag as their QC doesn't help either. I've had some fine email interactions with people there, but when I complained (and showed evidence) that my brand new statue's arm didn't attach just right, they basically told me I wasn't doing it right. Like.. um ok, this isn't my first statue. Really, really disappointing. I might stop PO'ing as well tbh.
I was excited for my Yennefer special edition, and her head looked terrible and small on big shoulders - not at all like the advertisement pictures, and the protoype I saw from a video on a convention years back when she got announced. They tried to explain it with the light situation when they take photos, but I can tell you rn my figurine was not modelled after the prototype, nor painted in the same way (head and makeup). The customer service is beyond terrible. I would never pre-order again, and I'm really turned off ordering from them again in general.
@@lanycera Definitely order through Sideshow if you ever get another P1 piece. Sideshow's customer support is fantastic, Prime 1's is brutal if you order direct.
Did Prime 1 ever replace this head for you?
They did! Via Sideshow. I have a feeling if I was dealing directly with Prime 1 I would have gotten nowhere though.
Bruh her eyes are frog eyes.....I had to send my prime1 Yennefer special outfit figurine back because she looked COMPLETELY different in the face to the advertisement, and the head was tiny. The entire body looked great, and was painted well - but the rest was so disappointing. I even sent them photos and they denied that anything was wrong, but I could send it back on my own costs. I just couldn't believe it, so many people were raving about Prime1. I paid almost 1000 USD for a figurine that was completely different to their prototype in terms of the head.
Yeah, Prime 1 really f'd up with this line compared to their other statues tbh. Their 1/3 DC line are stunning. Luckily I ordered mine through Sideshow and they did send me a replacement head for Ciri. It looks WAY better, thank God.
Urghh! It's dissapointing to see Prime 1 going downhill like that. I have another 5 PO's with them. I hope you at least get a replacement head, those eyes are definitely bad! Best of luck man!

@@thenic123 Base no.. but eyes yes! Not Prime 1 though, Sideshow, who I thankfully ordered her though, came through with a replacement portrait.. and it's all good. Still going to sell her though. Just doesn't fit the collection.

The eyes are really way off... Noticed it right away in the first frame of the video... Which is a shame, because the rest of her looks really nice.
They definitely could have put more effort into the base. Though I don't think it is as bad as the Poison Ivy base... And it sure ain't as bad as the Iron Studios Sentinel base... that one looks horrible!

I'm not sold on the Witcher line from Prime 1. They look okay-ish but not wow. I have the Yennefer and the Geralt one. They look bland in comparison with other Prime statues. Too bad because I love the games :/. Thx for the review! :)

Mostly I rely on reviewers like you to see what their opinions are before I buy a piece. My apologies for the weird spelling. English isn't my main language. I live in Belgium (Europe).

finally someone with some common sense. I have the whole witcher line and it has brought a lot of frustration. Just a few weeks ago Yennefer leg snapped because it was leaning too much and they refuse to do anything about it. Not to mention the other faults with this line. Like Geralt's base horn arrived broken. Triss outfit had a terrible paint job at the coat, it was wiped off for so many people. Yennefer fur was different from the prototype, the base was really bad, the leaning problems for several people, and lastly Ciri was literally shit.

You got it.. the entire line was really sub-par and Prime 1 have the worst customer support in the industry. They're terrible. Honestly, they've made some good products but I can't wait for the day that another company, that cares more about the satisfaction of their customers comes along and scoops up these licenses. Prime 1 do not have my loyalty, only my business while they're the only ones making these characters. As for the Witcher line, I canceled my 1:3 Geralt and will be selling Yen and Ciri.
You cancelled the 1/3 Geralt? I’m going to give it a chance. I bought mine through Sideshow, so if it sucks, I will return. Yes, and take the hit in shipping etc. I have spent money on worse / meaningless other junk LOL. Hope for the best, I don’t have any other Witcher statues. Did get their new God of War statue…. It is very good! And really enjoy your reviews and channel!

What I hate about prime one the most is their big bulky heavy base . Who cares about that ugly wolf beast head ! This will cost shipment cost . We all know that shipment cost increased sharply . The shipment of 1/4 scale is going to cost me over 300 USD ….
