correct answer is 0.002 dear because in this tutorial the guider say that from 10 cubic meter comes 500 bricks but we know that 1 cum =500 bricks so 10 × 500 =5000 and by dividing 10/0.002 we also get 5000 bricks

Why use volume of wall or brick, when u can simply use the surface area to calculate it?
And what about the area consumed by mortar?

    • @gikaradi8793
      @gikaradi8793 2 года назад

i put a cm in the lenth and a cm in the height of a brick to co-calculate mortar and i divide the surface of the wall with the surface of the "bigger" bricks but i diont know if im right or wrong .So lets say we have a wall 10x5 and the bricks are 19 in length and 6 in height(cm) ill give a cm on each dimension to include mortar and the brick gets up to 20x 7 =0.014m2 and then divide the 10x5 = 50 m2 of the wall with 0.014m2 and we need about 3572 bricks(!) .Do you think is that ok??

      1 m = 1000 mm
so we convert volume of brick to meter
      which is 100 × 200 × 100 with mortar
      100/1000 = 0.1
      200/1000 = 0.2
      100/1000 = 0.1
so we get the volume of brick in meter
      now we multiply it
      0.1 × 0.2 × 0.1 = 0.002 cum.
i hope u can understand now completely dear.

Thank you so much for simplifying the calculation it’s is most definitely helpful..I am not sure if you videos in the same manner for following items or not if not I would love to see .
    1. How to calculate amount of concrete mix needed for building a foundation ( I do understand that this could be depended not on number of stories build in a building and also the condition of land on has on hand to deal with etc etc PS I am no civil engineer or construction manager just an ordinary person who likes to learn basics of engineering calculations)
    2. How to calculate the area of a roof ( I.e. slanted height A shape roofs)
    3. How to calculate proper amount of concrete mix and ratios.
The list can go on an on but these are some in my mind that I thought I would share .
Also it would be nice if you create a playlist of calculations and add videos in that list appropriately for viewers pleasure as one can binge watch .
Thank you for your hardwork and effort to put this descriptive video.
