When I was on holiday last year, I was shocked at the amount of 'older couples' on their phones & not chatting to one another. Also families in the restaurant who bring in their phones, texting on them and then put iPads in front of their kids while they eat their meals, no conversation at all

Nads, as Mark was telling you about your weight in the car, I was sitting here having just eaten 4 ginger cookies. I've got at least 3 stone to shift, soooooo many of us rowing the same boat, and it's got a bloody hole in it.

From one woman to another Nadia, please look after yourself while you're able to. I've struggled with weight most of my life and over the past few years it's got harder and harder to lose anything. I'm now 66 and have arthritis in my hips and knees and i'm at least 3 stone overweight, probably more. It just crept on and I really didn't notice until i started to struggle to climb stairs, get in and out of the bath etc. Please do something now otherwise you'll be like me in a few years. [said with kindness]

There were a couple of places I just wanted to give Nadia a hug in this Vlog. When she was looking at the floor in her room (in the green jumper) I just know how that feels and she looked so similar to me years ago when I kept chaotic rooms and I just wanted to hug her. .... well done Maddie, as always think she has amazing talent.

As someone who needs to lose a couple of stone myself I hate all the " you dont look big at all" and "you're fine as you are" so although the car conversation may have been a bit awks I think its great how you two talk so openly. As it goes Nadia, you are very blessed in the looks department and my teen has said to me you look atleast 10 years younger than your actual age and she rarely does compliments, so therefore it's most definitely true.😘🤩

If a family member hadn't said to me they were worried I would have never started getting fitter. If it comes from a good place and said correctly its normally something you know yourself.

If you want omega 3 just take 2 tbsps of ground flaxseed/linseed or 2 tbsps ground chia seeds per day, it needs to be ground so you can absorb it properly, you don’t need to eat fish to get it. Or take Viridian’s vegan EPA/DHA supplement, 4 drops under the tongue, made from seaweed, that’s where the fish eat get it from.

I absolutely love your vlogs guys. I think you produce some of the most viewable, thought provoking, original and entertaining content on RUclips. I watch pretty much all of your work, and have tremendous respect for all the creativity and hard work that you put into this channel. Mark, I hope you in particular read this - I very rarely comment unless I feel I have something important to say, and I definitely feel that this is one of those times. I realise your channel isn't about airing political opinions on sensitive/contentious topics, so I won't go into too much detail, suffice to say that Mark, as the extremely intelligent, articulate and insightful person that you are, please be aware that things are not always what they seem. That gunman that you mentioned was acting in the polar opposite way of the cause that he allegedly killed in the name of. I can genuinely say to you that this kind of behaviour has no business affiliating itself with any religion, and hijacking it to promote it's own agenda under the pretence of something it isn't. 'Divide and conquer' - it's the oldest trick in the book. I sincerely hope you'll read this comment. As I said before, I have huge respect for you both, and I suppose that's why I felt compelled to leave this comment. Peace.

Nadia, I’m 48 and post menopause already. The ONLY way I’ve been able to lose weight and keep it off at this stage of life, is through intermittent fasting. I eat a yogurt, berry, chia, nut butter, coconut milk and cinnamon smoothie around 12pm as my first meal, then whatever I like for dinner at around 6. No snacking between meals (although I will still eat chocolate straight after dinner sometimes). I have two coffees in the morning with cream. It works SO well! I’m 65 kg’s now, same weight I was when I got married 23 years ago! Before I started IF, I got to 74 kgs and was feeling awful. Give it a go! It’s the easiest way to keep your weight down at this stage of life 😊 AND, it’s brilliant for your health too!

Just watched live on replay in answer to a couple questions raised Mark you were the perfect gentleman earlier in vlog you were being caring and honest and although Nadia may feel heavier than she’s happy with it’s good to get healthier if in ore diabetes range like myself too. Also I recently had CAT ( bit CBT ) it was terribly traumatic. I’m still recovering from a breakdown 18 months ago and I will say your channel is brilliant for my mental health - thank you as always, I love you all xxx
While I enjoy your videos, it does seem like you spend a lot of time on your phone. I actually don't have time to watch all the lives on instagram or every vlog on youtube. I enjoy them, but I can't imagine what it would be like to be watching a show in my living room with someone live on every commercial break. You are also putting out a video every day. That takes time to video plus it must be edited. If my child were doing that, I would think it excessive. As a teenager, I think it would have made me anxious if every time I wanted to go downstairs, I had to edit what I'm wearing, or doing because my parents might be live on the internet.

I know it came from a good place Mark and Nadia took it well but speaking as someone who was 18 stones and lost 6 stones 8 years ago we know we need to lose weight if only for health reasons no need for anyone to tell us and for me would make me want to eat more. My hubby loves me unconditionally fat or thinner. Nadia will lose weight when shes in the right frame of mind. I'm proud of myself that I have kept most of the weight off always still go to WW still but always trying to lose the few pounds I've put on after christmas/holiday any excuse lol. My weight is the bane of my life. Love to you both ♥️

OMG, your loft and Nadia's room are giving me anxiety. I sent you a link on Instagram back in December for Keylite loft ladders. They sell different sizes at Amazon We have 2 of them into our loft and they are really sturdy. Get Steven to fit one and then get some fitted wardrobes for Nadia's room, my nerves can't cope xx

Loved the vlog. Nanny Di and I have so much in common. I drink copious quantities of sparkling water, we will both have a big 70 bday in June and I now know Nanny Di worked at county hall in the ILEA. I worked at county hall education dept from 1968- 1973. When did nanny Di work there? I worked on the ground floor but didn’t have a river view.

Nadia, my husband tells me when I have put on weight. He says it from a nice place to encourage me to get back in the zone of eating well and training hard. He has just lost a stone in 4 weeks, the bastard. 😡😡🤣🤣🤣. It takes me about 8 weeks to lose a stone. Losing weight is a mental marathon as well as a physical one.

It’s harder to loose it when we get into our mid 40s (I’m 49 in May) despite eating healthy it’s a slow journey.
