The thing with personal space hits different now. Castiel most likely felt that he wanted to be closer to Dean, not understanding why or what he was feeling he thought standing closer was the right way to do it.

I’m usually not one for destiel edits but this one is amazing. The layers of the audio and the scene usage is just incredible. Definitely rewatching over and over again.
I must applaud you for the dialogue build-up, it's brilliant. The recurring statements gain power and conjecture becomes fact. Really outstanding editing, you gave our longing hearts what they craved for. Except the final shot. Heartbroken. But maybe "good things do happen" and in an alternative future, Cas takes up where he left off with Dean. I assume they have some explaining to do to each other. Now that dialogue I could listen to. 🙏❤❤❤
